Is the top secret item of the 9mm variety 😂
A top secret 9mm “socket”, right? 😉
@@s0la.scr1ptura lol thought it was weed. But yeah, guess that makes more sense
Looks sweet. :) I’ve got my Milwaukee fan in the same spot!
That's a fine looking truck,. Well put together. Good job brother we need more mobile mechanics. Thank you for being a entrepreneur.
Your set up the best for being a mobile mechanic. Heck if you had a lift, torches and a welder. You would be as set up as the garage I used to work at. And that's saying a lot. Most mobile mechanics don't have nearly a quarter of what you have and yours is set up the best that I've seen thus far congrats bud wish you all the best and success. I forgot you also had a tire machine and a balancer
There’s a channel called “roadside rescue”, and he uses a Stepvan for most car repair jobs. He uses smaller vehicles if it’s a long ways and he knows what tools he’s gonna need. Im surprised there aren’t more mobile businesses using Stepvans. They can be a pia to drive sometimes but you can have everything you need with you.
Amazing setup man, definitely makes you rethink owning a shop vs going fully mobile
What the.... why would you go backwards. Just organize your shop
I think he meant starting up- going mobile vs. trying to start up a whole shop
Being a mechanic for over 40yrs and what was impressive was torque wrenches in the top draw.
EXCELLENT
Absolutely love your set up, i'm a handyman and have yet to get myself sorted. You've kitted out this van bloody good mate, cheers from down under
Super badass set up.
The compact space set up layout is SUPERB. great work sir
I am so happy for you! I am about to get back into the auto fixing business again, I thought I had alot of tools, but wow man you got it going on! 👏 👏 👏
That’s one of the coolest setups iv seen in a truck very well laid out you can tell a lot of thought went into that. 👍👍👍
I have an 85 PW3 With a 4 cylinder Cummings diesel that I used to drive. Love the set up dude. Looks great
Looks amazing. One can tell that you have invested a ton of money in tools.
Very nice build out! Thanks for the tour!
Very nice setup. Keep wrenching and stay safe out there Brother
You have THEE best mobile mechanic truck setup on youtube hands down💯
Hands down 💯 my man I have 8.5x24 spread axle vnose enclosed you definitely right space is limited I do heavy duty diesel pm service and tires you gave me idea!!! Great 👍 job !!!
Nice set up. Kudos on the cleanliness👍
Wow. Nice setup. Hard to believe you packed that much stuff in such a small space.
A very nice, interesting and brief video you have there. Thank you.
Awesome setup you have there! Best of luck with everything
Dang brother you have got that thing set up great !! Love it
Really nice setup i almost got into mobile mechanic business but had a shop and building paid for
This truck is amazing, lots of work and thought went into this thing
This might be the greatest TH-cam video I’ve ever watched.
Great video, amazing truck and layout. very clean setup.
Great setup. Good luck on the road
Your Van is amazing ... 👊🏼
Sweet setup! Your setup for pretty much anything.
Bro your setup is AWESOME!!!
You're Living my Dream !!! 🔨👍😁👍🔧
That husky box was my starter box in the trade. I'm buying 2 of them for my mobile business
Goals. I just started my mobile business, Wizz Bang Mobile Mechanics. I am getting my 2001 Astro van wrapped, lol. I figure it will hold me by until I get some clients. This makes me wonder how I am going to function. I have a 3 bay shop now, and trying to fit it in a smaller space than you. I am also looking at P10s and P30s. I think the step van is perfect, and you just proved it. Great job.
Nice little setup
Hell yeah bud! Sweet rig!
Sunday morning here, just kickin with my cup of coffee and really enjoying your video tour of your rig. Thanks for posting.
SUBSCRIBED.
Thanks!
I like your style WCG. Been subbed since your HUSKY tools review. Good luck in all you do bro.
Wow amazing setup ! 👍👍👍
Very nice setup man love this coming form a field tech crane truck I would love to have full boxes and an area to work on rebuilding parts indoors , but you loose the crane and welder generator compressor on top and the bed space getting to bad spots with 4x4 truck vs van but for automotive it makes so much sense very nice
one of the nicedst setups I havre seen
Very nice set up mechanic from England
Love the set up brother, looks great.
Cool Stepvan tour. Mines a 74 GMC P3500. I’m using mine for my locksmith business as soon as I finish moving things into it. Fortunately I don’t need as much tools as you do so I’ll be able to throw kayaks and camping stuff in mine as well. Thanks for sharing!✌🏼
Very cool!
LOVE THE SET UP!!
That’s a nice set up!!
It is fucking crazy how many tools we have in common. I'll definitely mentally reference this video later. Thanks for your advice
Nice rig and tools
Awesome setup, and i would absolutely love to be a mobile mechanic one day
Your setup is awesome man, very clean and organized.
Sweet set up deserved a fallow i'd like to see outside for sure
great set up Bravo
Man, what a collection of tools, most important is the truck to be parked in a safe place, with high security.
Everything is so clean! If it was my van the whole thing would be covered in grime
Looks like you have everything setup very well.
Nice setup man!
Nice setup.
Wicked setup. Love it
Nice set up
Nice storage management 🤘🏽
Great little setup, not too much fluff but you have most useful stuff, and most importantly you will make it to the repair job because the van is a Chevy
I think these set ups are so cool. If i ever had to do something like this - I’d get two harbor freight bottom boxes with drawers and put them both on one side of the truck or trailer, and then build a wooden workbench the entire length of the other side with storage or shelves above and below.. some nice lighting on the ceiling, and a harbor freight press somewhere. With a big ass truck/van like that - i think I’d have to have a flip up or down table hinged to the outside of it, so at least there was a surface to lay stuff down on.
Theres pros and cons going with van or box truck over a trailer i think. Obviously its much easier to get around in tight places without a trailer - but with an enclosed trailer having a nice ramp that folds down - you can at least have a tool cart that can be rolled out with all the most used tools. That alone seems like a huge convenience - not having to climb in and out of a vehicle every time you need a tool - and being able to keep stuff organized and off the ground where youre working.
I’m not even a mechanic, but a friend at work has a son that does this out of pickup truck - and ive become obsessed with the idea of how I’d go about doing that. Making all the little annoying things disappear, or kept to a minimum eliminates tons of stress. Going the trailer route also allows you to use and protect a personal pickup truck from the hell it would otherwise endure. Dropping a trailer when you dont need it is easy too. Its too bad theres really no box or cube truck thats low enough like a trailer, that can make use of a ramp to easily roll a tool cart and floor jacks out.
I have that roadster floor jack I love it !!!
You're missing the desk chair and a small fridge for Beer tho (solar panel). Nice setup.. my dream!
Best I’ve seen thus far on TH-cam
Nice setup dude 👌🏻👌🏻
Cool set up man
Nice Setup. You should move your fire extiguisher so it's in the doorway. You won't have to take your eyes off the fire to get to it...and if the fire wins, you're already at the exit.
I just subbed. I finally found your video I watched it awhile back but forgot to sub.
Good setup
Good Job
Great you have stuff ;-)
New to your channel 1st video I'm watching this one. I like videos like these. Be safe And never trust anything that is hydraulic coming from a hydraulic repair mechanic for years👍 Some of these mechanics rely too much on hydraulics
Awesome setup! Been following on Instagram for a while. Never knew you were on TH-cam.
Trying to get back into TH-cam!
That's badass!!!!
How long is the box on your truck? I love the idea of the frame under the toolbox for storage. I just bought a new 7x16 cargo to set up like your truck except your driver's seat will be the desk in my trailer. I never thought to raise up the toolbox for storage under it. I planned a frame to replace wheels but I am going to copy your storage idea and raise it up some. I have only ever used regular service trucks for 15 years. but certain things creeper, large drain pan, tool cart, etc just don't fit in the side boxes and easily stole or wet in center of the bed. Good luck to you! Thanks for this video it sure made me even happier with my trailer setup plans. I might even film it and post on youtube.
Parabéns pelo ferramental . Ferramentas nunca é demais
Interested in that “top secret item” can’t forget about it
.Ike the van better than a pickup work standing up out of the weather andmore discrete good job ty
Watch your frame cross members on the floor of the van , I had a Grumman set up for service much like yours loaded heavy and the cross members fatigued greatly bending outborad of the trucks frame rails.
Very Nice
I love the setup, soon i will have one 😊
great job
It is great setup, but in my opinion who I let mobile mechanic Busniess for couple years and I have 7 staff, best car for mobile mechanic is small cars like minivan Toyota and Ford transits because of gas mileage and we don’t need that much big tools everyday, but I like it keep up
Hello again Working Class Garage
Thank you for another Great Video. Your looking good, so after all the work you put into your work truck, how is it working out for you? Again thank you
Nice!
I like this! I’m a mechanic and I think a Van 🚐 like this would be good for me😊! I subscribed🦾
Badass!
Sick!!!!!!
Great van. I’m just getting started with my mobile set up do you have and ideas or advice you can give me. I have a 2009 Isuzu NPR HD with a gas 6.0 gm motor.
The organization is so satisfying 😌
Do you have room for an engine or transmission to fit in the back?
That’s awesome
Very nice thanks
Great set up and video. Is that the same van borat went round america in?????
Road side rescue uses this exact van for mobile mechanic aswll lol
PERFECT from philippines
Bro that’s a hell of a setup. The effort you put in is evident and well worth it. Organization is key in this field. Where are you from? Pittsburgh/Ohio area? Thought I heard a little Pittsburgh accent in there lol.
Thanks man! I’m from southern Ohio, I have a lot of family from Kentucky/Tennessee.
Have you thought of putting a/c in it? Like an ice pack system or something along the lines of that?
Love it.....
What type of screwdriver holder and wrench holders are you using? How do you keep your tools/parts from bouncing n shaking out if place? That's one of my biggest issues being on the road.
Looks like the old mission impossible van from way back
