Do you know where the speaker is at for the frunk alarm when opening and closing?
@@isaiahgrandt5305 if I’m not mistaken, it is behind the front bumper on the passenger side.
@@Ruby5point0 we checked there and only found the back up speaking so we un plugged it and could still hear the sound when the frunk opens, if you’re underneath the truck it sounds like the sound comes from up higher than the back up speaker yet we couldn’t see anything even when removing the wheel lining

Comau Aura applying a load to the bed to calibrate the onboard “scales” in the bed. To automatically weigh your payload for you.

Watching those trucks get assembled, makes it look like kits you should be able to order at Amazon and get delivered in a box for home assembly. No tools required, everything snaps together lol

Am I the only one who hated the FPV drone shots? Made me sick. Truck is super nice though.
Id love to see Ford buy the old Harley Davidson factory in kansas city mo add onto to it and produce these becuse thus far demand will far outpace the supply availability. Also upgrades to Clacomo plant could include hybrid options to any truck or van it produces now.
Also a mini series truck. But what should be part of the purchase price is adding a home charging station. We have to keep
In mind wile we are using electric vehicles we might be saving some carbon footprint but we are still using fossil fules to charge or care for these electronic automobiles so adding solar to your home and or wind generating helps offset your carbon footprint even more. We still have gas and coal powered power plants as well as nuclear energy with 50,000 year waste or even more. We haven't found the magic yet but this is a lot closer then what we've been doing.

Anyone else notice the production line timers? They are taking too long at almost every step. I like the Ford Lighting as a product, but I don't see how they are ever going to scale this old-school, very manual, labor intensive production line. Tesla's going to continue to eat their lunch.
Meh, like on all their production lines, they'll figure out where the bottle necks are and fix them to make things more efficient. Ford has a TON more experience in this than Tesla does and will figure it out much faster.
The comical, hideous Cybertruck won't stand against this useful truck .
It’s been demonstrated that an all automated factory isn’t more efficient than one that mixes properly robots and human labor
Does Ford publish map of charging stations in North America? I have heard Tesla Supercharger stations don't allow non-Tesla vehicles to be charged. Some suggesting you can buy an adapter that can tell charger its Tesla vehicle but Tesla can always fix that issue and make adapters useless.
Tesla is in the process of opening their supercharger network up to other manufacturers. There are plenty of other charging networks that are cross compatible though (EVgo, Blink, Chargepoint etc)
Ford’s are open to Tesla charging now.

Watching videos, controlling a lot of the interior tech, energy management, etc. A large screen allows for flexibility and id more convenient, it's the future of automotive.

Its too bad ford ia ramping down production in 2024. The dealers ruined this truck for the world. Everyone wants americas #1 truck as an ev. No one wants it priced ay 160k as marked up by rhe dealerships.

this type of factory is common, Tesla didn't invented automated factory. (camera shoot looks like tesla video but that's just a video so don't care)
You do realize that it was FORD that invented the assembly line for manufacturing. Tesla copying Ford's original assembly line process.

I mean, Ford had at least one working electric car in what, 1913? Battery tech just wasn't viable back then. Tesla succeeded because they were able to make a reasonable charging network.
For whatever reasons this truck is being produce HERE in 2022...
