This is a game recording of Resident Evil 1996 with an HD mod from Teamx; maybe this HD mod is currently still being developed for the Seamless HD Project, which is now on the site with a "stay tuned" status.
Resident Evil 1996 has several endings with different scenarios. Here I get a bad ending for leaving Barry while taking the rope to help Jill, but in the lab I helped Chris out of the cell.

Looks great in my opinion! I will say a few things I did spot that are incorrect, but it isn't knocking the hard work that was done to this classic. Barry is only 38 during this time and had no grey hair on his head, or beard. It's a little gripe, but noticeable from the very beginning. My other gripe is wishing RE2 was done as well as this one because this looks amazing! I always wished they made RE2 with the cut-scene graphics - it has that really nice, clean old school look to it and this is pretty close to it! I salute you to a job well done and then some!
Yes, the original RE still looks scarier than the remake, though there are some flaws. RE lovers will always remember and play this game.
class RE are still the Best in my opinion I don't even know why the remakes ( except RE1 remake ) are becoming cringey

@@zetsuboushinjiruu9350 the Remake's aren't cringey they are great (except the RE3 Remake that shit is just a glorified DLC with how short it is) the RE2 Remake is my Favorite while the RE4 Remake is really close to it but I have also played through the original's like RE1 and RE2 not 3 yet but I will at some point I did also play the original version of RE4 all the way through not on Pro mode though although I could cause unlike in the RE4 Remake it isn't unfair as hell

This is just amazing. There is something timeless, indescribably nostalgiac about this. My childhood memories of exploring this mansion vary ever so slightly- as if, I remember it being ever so slightly bigger, with darker more terrifying rooms. Even though I know it’s impossible. I think it’s the fact that it doesn’t scare me now like it did when I was 7 playing my first ever PlayStation game and never knowing what was around the next corner. That kind of fear warps your perception. And it’s a feeling that no modern game can ever replicate.
My first experience with this game I had an original ps1 with no memory card. Talk about survival horror

Still remember playing this for the very first time as a teen in 96-97 the part where the zombie is eating the dude at the start… me and my friend almost shit ourselves! It was awesome! Sadly it’s not as scary today as it was back then. Still a great game tho!

To me this looks a thousand times better than the current DLC version for the PS5.
I would much rather have this version and the RE2 Seamless HD Project for the PS5 as a download.
This is an original copy. How did I get it? I am shocked. It was really scary. I was playing with the global version so that there were no bloody scenes. This is a very cool version. It is very interesting. Thank you

Nice mod! Except for the difficulty...this is the japan version of the game and it have a easier level of difficulty as compared to european and american version

Looks fuggly as all hell the texter and grittiness is all gone. I find it looks super off and odd looking, its too clean.... the recent GOG release of RE1 does a better job at keeping the vibe.
