The time I got to see the Thunderbirds in person was the most amazing thing I’d ever seen. One of the pilots names was Samantha. She signed my hat after a show at offutt AFB. My 7 year old mind thought it was so cool to see a woman in that high a seat of prestige. I thought “Wow. If she can do this, I could do anything.” Something about how they fly really gets me.
Nice job catching the sneak passes! This year i got lucky to catch three airshows on my dreamtrip, at all three the Thunderbirds were present, even back to back at Edwards AFB with the blues. My first time seeing these US teams in action, but most of the time i was stuck in the viewfinder of my dlsr. Great to see the show through your lens! Thanks you!

Thank for the thrills of this video. My dad was stationed at Laredo Air Force Base. He finished his military career in Arizona at Luke Air Force Base. There again from one military brat to another , thanks. My dad's call sign was "Mac" short for McCluskey! My call sign is "Big Country"!
Had the Solo pilots fly from behind the stands over top of us on a survey run at Reno '19 ( while we were focused on the group of four in the distance) ............ AWESOME T-BIRDS SOLO PILOTS, That made my trip worth every dime spent to get there. SEE ya this at Fall RENO !
Thanks for the little snap around the bend on 17-92 during your airshow at Sanford Florida. I don't want to fool with anything that can turn like that. Brs5 wishes.
All I have to say the our pilots are the best in the world watching this video don’t do it justice it so much better to see this live to I’m going to watch these guy at pease Air Force base this weekend
@@qwe-ju3uv I am not sure which. Six did it in a video I saw of Joint Training with the Blue Angels at El Centro NAF. Five was out of the show because of back pain.
🐝 U T Full , I like the rudder action @ 4min mark approximately. So exhilarating to see such a complete team of professionals. Now for some blasphemy, I dare say that the F-16, in our world of conservation, is the prerequisite ultimate airframe for display purposes? I love the Blue Angels but I would imagine they burn more fuel per performance?
I love number 6 takeoff thats just raw power 1000ft landing gear up and holding the throttle down. The f18 and f22 have to gain way more speed to do that
I once saw them do a display at Thunder Over Michigan and #3 had to grab the 2 place #8 or #9 (with big centre tank) because of a bird strike and she flew that baby flawlessly.
The 2-seat F-16 weighs slightly more and burns more fuel so they carry an external tank during the display. If you catch them on practice day, almost all of them carry external tanks due to long practices and needing more fuel

Normally screaming kids would annoy me. In this case it was kind of cute since they seemed so excited about the Thunderbirds.

Great camera work. Interesting to me that they were using a "B" with a pod in the #4 slot for this routine.
Sometimes if they have a guest they will use the D and have a VIP fly with them
