I remember jumping around on roof-top clubs when I lived in NYC in the late 80's and early 90's - complete with the BIG hair and wearing micro skirts and sporting a fake tan. You brought back some great memories. Anyone remember 'Hunka Bunka Ballroom'?
@@johnny-mnemonic13 Hunka Bunka Ballroom! I used to go there from the mid-80's to the beginning of the 90's! Is it still there??? Short train ride there and back!!
Awesome vid! I live an hour south of NYC and usually party down on the shore, but this Thursday I plan on diving into some NYC nightlife just before I move far south for awhile. Any solid Thursday night recs I should keep in mind for a fun and intense club vibe? I'm sleeping near Brooklyn Heights for the night. Was looking online and saw a lot about Bushwick having a good scene? All I know about Manhattan is from your vids. Travelling as a solo guy since that's prob a factor as well. Idk which clubs are friendly to that and which are not.
I don’t actually know the Brooklyn seen to well aside for a few rooftops but definitely not for Thursdays lol I have my hands full working on Manhatten.Brooklyn/queens coming in the future
@@MrnokturnalNyc 230 fifth has a night club during weekends on their penthouse one floor level down from the main rooftop and FYI 230 fifth has a event space venue as well, It's a Largest rooftop bar in New York City
Rooftop bar, it’s considered a lounge as opposed to a club, you can flip them back and forth yes, but for this list I tried to only focus on clubs. Made an actual rooftop list but summer was almost over so I’m gonna drop it during spring and 230 fifth made that list. Also I’m not a huge fan of that place since it’s filled with tourists. But it’s views are amazing
@@MrnokturnalNyc well hope you can make an content about 230 fifth also, and yes It's always busy there that's why 230 fifth is very popular rooftop in new York especially for tourist where they can see the Manhattan skyline especially the Iconic Empire State building without making any reservation.
