I'm getting really tired of these stories just... petering out,on a fecking cliffhanger, no less. Another series,that was superbly written, Retreat, Hell! did the same thing. That one was written by what was obviously a U.S. Marine. The combat was perfect, with an inside glimpse of modern warfare tactics. It also showed the daily routine of an active duty serviceman. And it did the same thing. Excellent character arcs, and plot development. Sadly, it ended with 30 installments, on a major plot development. Another series to avoid is Nature of Predators. So juvenile it's almost funny. Major inconsistencies, plot contradictions, and no basic knowledge of warfare. Earth is orbitally bombarded with antimatter bombs. Yet most life survives. We have produced antimatter in particle accelerators. We KNOW what happens in an antimatter reaction. No shockwave,or fireball,like fusion or fission bombs. It's a MASSIVE release of radiation, in the x-ray and gamma ray range. Earth would have been sterilized, not just 50 cities destroyed. A LITTLE research would have gone a long way.
Then the rooms that the most influential members of society have must be extremely extremely tacky at least the room that you're currently looking at is some somewhat tasteful.
