I like that you used your scraps on inside of the cards as circles instead of strips like I usually do. Punches would work as well. Thank you for sharing.

Yes, I've used a sponge with glue on a silicone mat, as well as using a fine-tip glue bottle to put a wee bit of glue on the back and usually dab some off on the back of my hand. It depends on the "glueable" space on the die and what I have closest to me. The cards turned out great, but I'd have expected nothing less. I'll get to your collaborators a bit at a time. Thanks for another keeper.

My work space is always crowded so I wouldn’t have room for a silicon mat and sponge. For intricate die cuts, I put a dab of glue on the back of my hand and use a tweezer to lay the die cut on the glue and then attach to the card. Because it’s on the back of my hand, I don’t accidentally get glue where it doesn’t belong.

Love the bright, cheery colors on these. You can always count on Doodlebug for that. I always look forward to your card sketches each month. Thanks so much for bringing them to us! I've seen and tried the glue trick but it is difficult to not get glue on the front side of the die cut unless you can keep it in place while dabbing. Then you have to move each one around to different spots on the mat if you are doing multiples. I prefer to just use a fine tip bottle and hold the die cut with craft tweezers while I am applying the glue.

My mom or sister ordered a lot of those and shared them with me. I don't think they were anything special. the one I used in this video was half of the full sponge. I think the original person my mom saw use this technique uses a 1/4 sponge. Hope that helps and thanks for watching :)

    Great spring colors!
I have tried using a sponge with glue for intricate die cuts before, and it works well as long as I’m careful not to let the die cut shift at all as I’m applying the glue. Otherwise some glue can get on the front of the die cut.

I was working on my second set while watching the process video this morning. In my first set I added a strip of scrap cardstock under the center strip to keep everything level (a Kristie Marcotte tip). I decided to leave the branding strip part with the circle cut out for hanging on top of my first one inch strip. I discovered that by leaving this attached, it not only made everything level, but I could align my top outer edge pieces precisely on the bottom row. I don't know if I'm explaining clearly enough. I will upload an in process photo to your facebook album with the midway process.
