So interesting to see videos of El Salvador. I lived in El Salvador from 1976 to 1977. Climbed the volcano of Usulutan in 76, and the volcano of San Miguel in 77. Among many other things. Last time I visited El Salvador was thirty years ago, in 1993, when my wife and kids and I spent two weeks in El Salvador and Guatemala. It looks so different from how I remember the country. Of course, I never spent much time in the tourist spots. If I had a travel companion I’d love to go back. Todavia hablo espanol.
Oh wow I can't even begin to imagine how different it would've been back then! I found it to be a thoroughly welcoming place with truly kind people who were curious about tourists and proud to see us exploring without hesitation! It's definitely a place I'm sure you'd enjoy revisiting in this new era
What a beautiful young lady!!! Welcome to El Salvador my dear! I hope you had a wonderful time in my lovely country. Can't wait to see you again back here pretty soon! Cheers to you lovely lady! Be safe...
Aw muchas gracias Antonio! It made me so happy to see how happy locals were to see us gringos and gringas exploring their wondrous country. I'll be back again some day soon!!
Hi Zoe, nice of you to visit my country El Salvador....I wouldn't dare to travel alone, but life is short and that way you can go anywhere you want. ✈️
@@walkerlust seriously thought you were part of Miss universe, we’re hosting this month I think 🤔, and I thought you showed up early to do some activities lol anyway have fun in your adventures and stay safe Cheers ☕️ subscribed 😁
Next time if you are Santa Ana visit the Cathedral, beautiful and has a stairway that leads to the roof. You will be able to see Santan Ana 360 degrees. There is a fee of 2 bucks, that goes to church maintenace and repairs. There is also view point name " MIrador Santa Lucia" that overlook into Downtown Santa Ana,. Also if need to get out of the heat visit local water park name "Sihuatehuacan" (A.K.A " El Sihua"). Safe travels.
I really would have liked to meet you, you are very honest and liberal not to mention entertaining, your topics are very mature and I actually love that.
Hi how are you? If you are still in El Salvador go to beach los cobanos, playa El tunco and in la union too. You can also go to ruta de las Flores, also la ruta Panoramica which is a road with some restaurants and you have an amazing view of lake ilopango. Visit the capital of San Salvador the national theater, we have some many things to do there the president is changing everything for the good of the people and the country I hope you love your staying in my country thank you so much.
I am unfortunately back home in Australia, but I would have loved to have spent months exploring El Salvador. I unfortunately didn't have enough time. But I did explore San Salvador and visited Lake Ilopango and Suchitoto (that video is coming soon 👀).
Can you tell me what drone you are using? I’m thinking about getting one for my next trip t ES but am worried it’ll go right down into the water and dissolve
This was in March this year. I'm not sure about the weather situation and unsure if you're not allowed to climb when it rains! Sorry for the complete lack of help 🤣
Hellooo! I have seen all your videos from Mexico to Belize to Guatemala to El Salvador but heads-up I'm not sure how are you going to travel to Nicaragua. They do not allow drones, especially the size of the Drone you have from a solo Backpacker to another solo Backpacker
Hello!! Hahaha well you are correct and I knew this in advance so I flew from El Salvador to Costa Rica! Unfortunately I had to skip Nicaragua, but hopefully I'll be back soon (drone free alas). Thank you so much for watching my videos!! I'm honoured ❤️
@@Cenlalowell they are incredibly strict. People have tried hiding their drones to smuggle in and it's almost always a recipe for disaster. I sensibly, albeit regrettably, skipped the country entirely!
@walkerlust Yeah! seeing your ups and downs in your solo Backpacking trip. I didn't want another down-down surprise getting your drone taken away from you in Nicaragua 🇳🇮
Central America has so much to offer. You are doing a fantastic job of covering the different countries. Keep up the good work!
Aw thank you so much!! It truly is a wondrous region and I'm so glad I had the chance to visit

I have a Mavic 3 Classic! Sturdy but heavy to travel with, so you have to be committed to the cause 🤣
Do you remember what time the hike started?
Ohh it can start whenever because there are always guides around! But I think this one was around 10am
@@walkerlust thanks I'll be there in March
I heard they cancel the tour if it rains... Are you there now? How is the weather? I'm going the week of 10/7
