I really love how you incorporate a smoke machine and led lights it really gives it a mystical feel so it would be perfect as a nook amongst fantasy books or even d&d handbooks. Great terrain ✌.

Cool video! I really appreciate the design you put into your builds! I’m much more of draw a rough sketch, gather your stuff, and let’s see what happens! My favorite parts are when you go beyond the pink foam. Nice wooden boxes, led lights, smoke machines... that’s next level stuff !

That's awesome John! It's like alive somehow due to the fog! Sort of something you'd expect to see in a Harry Potter movie! And I see what you meant about your icicles. They look very real and are really quite clever! I think a layer of the UV resin on my cave crystals would do the trick! Thanks!
For snow and ice effects with paint, I would add a light drybrush of a pearl paint, the pearlescent effect on parts of it adds a tiny bit of the sparkle to it beyond other things.

Promising 😉 Btw, the hook coming out of the book nook, as well as the waterfall really brings the book nook to a whole new dimension, it surely isn't "trapped" in its (awesome wooden) case! This was fantastic work and reminded me of my great ideas, plans and thus great laziness: I don't like 50 board games in my shelves, it looks like a day care. What I had planned on doing was making hollow over-size magical tomes the board games would fit in, and box sets ala your book nook; sans the minis ofc. Making an AWESOME display of "huge arcane tomes" in my shelves.....but really just Gloomhaven, Tainted Grail ect.
By the way. I saw the video which you said your hands shake but you found ways around it. My hands shake too and being honest I don’t do certain hobbies because of it. Seeing you overcome it is inspiring. Thank you for sharing that with all of us.

Like Curse of Strahd or Baldur's Gate: Descent into Avernus. I know it takes a lot of work so I get it if that isn't possible but I'd love to see your take on those in a format like this.
