Schimpff’s Confectionary (Jeffersonville, Indiana)

Schimpff’s is simply a must stop if you’re visiting Jeffersonville, Indiana! Founded in 1891, it’s a deli, vintage soda fountain, ice cream shop, candy store, museum and candy factory, rolled into three 1800’s era buildings. Famous for red hots and candy canes, it also offers a fine assortment of chocolate, caramel and pecan filled treats!
It is SO much bigger inside, than it looks from the outside. A visitor favorite is watching candy being made, and most popular is the annual candy cane production in December. Kids of all ages will love a visit, and the turn of the century nostalgia make this a very warm and endearing place to visit.
