Helpful video. But how did you get that Armor King mask? You can't recolor the default King mask in customization and I don't see it in the store. Is it a mod?
Thank you. I feel like Jin is by far the most broken character in the game, but Bandai can't nerf him 'cause 70% of the players use him and would get mad. In the meantime, King has just gotten his second big nerf in three months because of the whining of people who can't react throws by pressing one or two buttons. So useful to have a guide to counter Jin braindead players.
man this guide helped me very much i struggling fujin king(new to tekken series) earlier i find jin as most frustrating matchup(over youshimitsu, bears and dragunov and any other char) but after this guide i really understand what is going on on the screen and now i really like to play against jins (i lose more than win) but now i enjoy every match against jin if you can cover another character will be very glad to see
Wow, a very nice find about giant swing beating ZEN. I can confirm that it works against all options. Watching the video I thought it won't work against ZEN cancel into electrics, hell sweep, snake edge etc. But in fact GS does catch Jin during cancel, which is really cool! However, it completely whiffs in case he adds delay after entering ZEN. You can try f+4~f -> delay -> u1 and it will launch our giant swing :( Also the input window is pretty hard against the low option, yeah.. There's an easy poor man's counter that works against everything Jin can do, including cancels, delays, ducks and whatever. Just uf3+4, it trades equally with power crush and trades negatively with jumping kick, but you won't get launched. All other options it completely destroys though.
Yeah as I stated- a Jin who is using their brain will come up with a potential workaround, but the GS will shutdown any players who are just flowcharting or not really thinking about what they’re doing.

You seem like a legacy player, I wanted to ask something else. In T7 there were some setups when you launched them backturned, with a guaranteed Burning Knuclke at the end. In T8 they nerfed BK, it doesn't hit grounded anymore. But still, I've found some setups, but they work on male characters only.. Anyway, the question is about the good combos when you have their back, what launchers to use (hop-knee sucks), what fillers, enders, setups? Or when you break the floor with Tombstone and so on. Do you have a video about that, or maybe you can make one?

@@beigemaster Thanks! Grabs can work, but people tend to duck.. From f2d12 you can do 111 damage with a tech trap. I just uploaded it plus some backturned setups, take a look if you want, thought you might be interested.
D1 should lose if he goes in the air. And you have to consider d1 is around 5 damage, a CH d/f 2 will get you 76. I'd personally play the mix (df 2 or block) - cause it seems good for King. BUT beigemasters GS option seems decent.
@8bit_pineapple the GS is a great idea but as he said, you have to be ready for it almost like a hard read to start the buffer. I'm not sure I'll have the reactions for it being an older player lol. Anyway, most options can be checked with df2 or d1 so it's a safe bet. I'm nit sure what jin gains from the air attack. Does it launch?
@@CasualKingMain Yea, it's a launcher. You get thrown really high in the air, though looking at a random bnb combo guide they got 72 damage (without walls).
I tried DF2 into duck and DF1 into duck but couldn’t crouch under the Zen 2, I don’t think King has enough frames to do it on either move- or Im just old and slow! 😅
@@beigemasterif you're a genetic freak it will be possible to delay the 2nd hit of df 2,1 so that you trade and both get knocked down instead of eating a combo

And wouldn't just DF2 on his power crush allow you to duck when you see its hit his armour rather than pressing 1 straight away?
