Seems your frame is aluminium, the pipe is torn from the plate, with a few triangular pieces (flanges), it can be re-inforced without interfering with the folding of the bike. If you are in Nairobi West, you are very close to a workshop that can do this for you. From Nyayo Stadium, you will see Toyota across, with DHL opposite, continue down the road (Lusaka Road) and pass the petrol station on your right. You will see a multi-story building (about 8 stories) and a couple of double story buildings just after it. I've forgotten the name, but if you ask around there, there is a Kalasinga workshop that does aluminium welding.
In a way I guess you were fortunate it broke in the safe neighbourhood outside Niarobi and Madness of Nairobe traffic. Those youngsters were really helpful.

Quick recovery Yves. Am glad you love my fellow Kenyans attitude. We are warm, social and like to greet everyone with a cheerful smile.
You deserve a free bike from the manufacturer of that motorcycle, after all that promotion you gave cycling around, they got worldwide recognition
Take your negativity back to your house.. He has been in Kenya for more than a month and in TH-cam and everybody he met was helpful and kind.. but you just had to bring your problems magnifying glass here..
Good job Kenia 🇰🇪
I wish you a quick recovery 🙏❤️
The lady police after Yves explains his journey from France then she was like hii ni maaajabu 😹 meaning this is wonders
I am glad you got to Nairobi mostly in one piece! Really sorry for the accident, been following your progress since Moyale. In case you need any help don't hesitate to reach out. I am based in Nairobi
Of course it is possible to fix it. Put one tube inside and one outside the broken tube combinded with some bolts and welding. Lots of clever mecanics in Africa. Usually very creative as well. Good luck!
You are a Very Very Lucky chap , and the kindness of the locals , amazing !! A good alloy welder should be able to repair ....i hope so . Get well soon ..
Such a positive vid♥️🇰🇪
Am your biggest fan from Nairobi Kenya, quick recovery Yves

We are all encouraging you and following you from the beginning, and you are now in the middle of the road. I am an adventurer and I was involved in an accident that broke my hand and I feel what you feel. Take some time to rest and continue your journey, my friend. you are a great man
A good welder will sort that out for you Yves and you will be back on the road in no time. Stay safe my friend
This is really difficult and painful.. I hope that you are always well, my ambitious and decision-making friend 🌸
May I say one thing about this? Only a muzungu will do this and I applaud you for it.. Kenyans are very friendly and accepting people and probably why they get taken advantage of. Loved your videos tho!
The guys on the side of the road were really nice and caring. That was nice to see.
désolé pour l'accident. Je suis heureux que mes aimables personnes soient venues pour vous. Fièrement kenyan
So sorry for you, Yves. Thank God no motor vehicle was involved in the crash and that you eventually made it to Nairobi. I hope you get a solution for the bike soon. Waiting for the next episode. Also, big up to everyone who came to your rescue.

That's an easy fix, as long as the electronics are good.. the structure can be fixed by many mechanics or welders in Kenya 🇰🇪
It's just a hollow steel frame
