Thank you for making this video! This is what TH-cam should be. Useful information!
@@Gttsloan thank you!
Just got my sway bar for my 2011 Tundra. You made the install look easy! I'm excited to install it and have an improved driving experience.
@@Th3M3at thank you! Let us know how it goes after you put it on!
"Looked like a toaster strudel packet" I see you're a man of culture as well
That’s 5 star cuisine right there!
Nice video, thanks. Ordering mine today to try and improve mountain twisty road driving up where I live.
I’m sure it will help! It’s crazy how much of a difference you can notice once it’s installed!
New sub and appreciate how easy you made that look, can't wait to do my 20 sr5.
Thank you!!! I appreciate that!!! Let us know how it turns out!!!
Hey man I just installed mines. Is there any way I can post a pic for you to see and you can tell me if it’s installed correctly
@@relcy22 I don’t think you can post them on here my advice would be to look at google images and see if it looks right!
Thanks! For sharing this video I just bought mine I’ll install it this weekend
No problem it’s a few months old we just did a 4k mile round trip it’s holding up great! Definitely notice the difference still! Thanks for watching!
@@CA2CAoutdoors that good to know I have four wheel camper on my truck to
@@alalaynimenan9777 right on!!!
I installed mine today, your video made it easier.
However my instructions said to leave out the last washer on the arms if you have the OEM hitch.
So I did.
Right on man!!! Glad it helped!!!
Just ordered mine.. im hoping it makes a big difference, My tundra drives like a boat and handles just as sloppy...
Mine was the same way you will see a big difference once it’s on!
Thanks for the video, I look forward to installing my own today, provided the snow stays away! Quick question: at 2:52 or so, that looks remarkably similar to my Lexivon torque wrench, you're not using your torque wrench to loosen that bolt are you?
No problem hopefully you can get that thing on!!! and yeah I was just not using it as a torque function just too lazy to grab a bigger ratchet
Great video. Can you explain the function for the sway bar???
@@chaparrousmc It balances the suspension side-to-side and helps compress shocks evenly. This limits your independent suspension travel for off-roading, but greatly enhances feel and decreases bodyroll on the roads. Nice addition for towing feel as well.
I got mine on easily enough and this video was a nice help. Mostly I wished I had some bungee cords handy to help hold the damn thing in place while I was trying to wrench it up.
Hey I want to do this to my 2020 tundra I have a 2 inch lift in the back so you think this will still work?
I bet it would! Someone else commented they did it with a 4” lift and had no issues. I haven’t looked into it that much to be honest but you may have to just extend the links if anything.
I can't remember the company but someone was selling extended end links. If not go to a good welder tell them what you want and they can extend them for you. Plus most great welders have or know someone who powder Coates, so it could be made to look like stock just 2 inches longer.
Could this work on 4in lifted tundra
Someone else commented they put it on their truck with a 4” lift and had no issues!
How do you know how far inboard or outboard on the axel to place the U bolts?
Honestly I can’t remember off the top of my head but it was in the instructions where to place them
@@CA2CAoutdoors Thanks..
@@suzukikawasaki5165 I know 😂 sorry wish I could be more help for ya!
@@CA2CAoutdoors All good was just curious. Recently got a Crew Max Trail , love the plush ride but boy does she roll. Gonna start with the RSB before chasing shocks. The ride is almost too plush like a Cadillac. Great on the highway but not so much around town.
@@suzukikawasaki5165 i definitely noticed a difference right away after I put it in the thing works great!
Could you really feel the difference in curves and such
Night and day
How was the upgrade when camper was on?
Oh man we just got back from a 14 day road trip up to Montana and you couldn’t even tell there was a load, there was a few times I had to slow down because I forgot it was there! Haha
I also put airbags on I forgot I haven’t posted that video yet! but the sway bar worked great in turns especially on those narrow windy dirt roads you can definitely tell it holds it more to the center and less roll to the truck
Ok I have bags and a FWC.. just did it know if the bar was needed. You do recommend? After airbags also?
@@thatguy5586 yes! Super easy install pretty cheap and it’s great with tight turns on mountain roads! Definitely can feel the difference and how much better it is now! Highly suggest it!
@@CA2CAoutdoors awesome thanks for the real world input
Jobs like these would be easier if we had two half size arms just below our normal arms.
I got one but idk how good it holds a wrench
Question would it wrk on a 6nch lift i have 37.5 by 20nch rims. Can someone let me knw B4 i buy it. Thanks
You might have to extend the links on this model but if you have a lift look into an adjustable seat bar might be a better fit for your truck!
@@CA2CAoutdoors
Thanks 👍
@@frankjimenez2337 no problem! Hope it works out!!! 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
@@frankjimenez2337 hey we’re you able to figure out how to put the sway bar on with a lift?
Just installed with a 4 inch lift, no issues
