- After moving to Bali in 2020 we traveled to Nusa Lembongan for a short getaway. We visited the Blue Lagoon Avia Villas in Nusa Ceningan for 2 days and explored the two islands on motorbike. With the pandemic it's easy to see that the islands are struggling much more than Bali. With no tourists in sight and only locals on the island, all the hotels, cafes, and even the warungs are closed down. It was certainly a much different experience compared to when i was last there one year ago, but i'm glad we could support the community by visiting.

I know a place in Penida, called Amok Sunset! Absolutely amazing mountain/beach club with an awesome French owner. The sunsets are unreal there, 100% tip if you are in Penida and havent seen it yet!

OMG...I was thinking to make that fishbone/ head soup with cuccumber & fried fish..last week..I bought some already but cuz of Chinese New Year...so I made Chinese food instead....btw how much does it cost for that fish meal?
it was 55K IDR for each meal including (soup, fish, rice) $3.96 USD

"C" is pronounced "Ch" in Indonesian - so now you know. Gili "Air" - "Air" means "Water" and is pronounced a bit like "Eye" but with an "r" on the end. I am enjoying your videos as it is good to see what Bali and Lombok and surrounding small islands are like during this time. It is also SO good to see places where masks are not worn. Masks are also not worn by the locals around Bromo in East Java and in the village areas of Madura....so much healthier not wearing a mask. The damage frequent mask wearing can do to our lungs is really shocking. How many other places to stay are open in Nusa Ceningan? I guess it was Mushroom Bay - the beach you went to on Nusa Lembongan. I can't remember any other good beach.

Hey alex, the boat trip from sanur to lembongan is 100K per person one way (no pick up from your hotel tho). And the last beach u visit in Lembongan is actually artificial beach, is a new beach that they made like 4 years ago i think.

Nice video, quality looks great on the TV. Just a heads up, there is quite a big difference in volume between when you are talking vs during shots with music, keep having to adjust up and down, otherwise great :)

@@alexandwhite My wife and I visited Bali for the first time in February this year, we are in love with the island...can barely wait to visit on our next vacation. We stayed in UBUD for two days and then to Seminyak for two days, before flying to Singapore. We always stay at hotel when traveling, never stayed at a ABNB...we like the pampering of a hotel chain. I an open to villa with a private pool.

Thanks Mario! The visa cost 4million IDR + 1.5mil embassy fee. It really depends on how long you plan to stay here. If you plan on being here longer than 6months it’s worth it to just get it now but if you just want to come for a month it’s not worth it. Don’t really know when the country will open yet
Hopefully other people who still think about Bali are Bali and they don't know that Bali is part of Indonesia, I hope after they watch this video they will know

Yes my first time in Bali was in 2017 I believe, I traveled solo for about 10 days, totally worth it! Best experience of my life and now I'm here for the 5th time
