Thanks for the vid. Looks amazing. Bang for your buck for sure. Love to see the speed test so please get the GPS sorted. Thanks again. Looking forward to the next installment. Btw, had a look at simmer of the cheap brushless options on Bangood, any suggestions on buying non-branded?
All in less that £200 so once all the issues are evened out should be a great truck. I have seen a lot of the Banggood specials the thing that worries me is spare parts support and having to wait up to 14 days for things to arrive I like to have my models fixed quickly and back up and running again! I will take the plunge and get a banggood special as a few have asked for the same thing so its on the list of things to do! GPS ordered and not due in stock until mid July unfortunately they are hard to get hold of and always out.of.stock!
Definitely it was the cheapest 4s capable ESC i could find and almost half price because no retail packaging or instructions were included. They are still in stock on the modelsport website at £46. I then downloaded a pdf instruction manual from the Team Orion website explaining the program functions and end points etc. Its the usual sort of set up for most ESC's. Glad you enjoyed the vid have a couple spurs on order so will be back with this and a bigger pinion should be very quick!
Exactly its the nature of RC haha! All part of the fun. Break, fix and repeat 🤣. If I haven't broken anything by the end of the day I wasn't Bashing hard enough!!
@@beyondRC BTW the HSP spurs fit, and are much cheaper. I'd order a stock of them if you plan on sticking with 4s 😄 I would have thought 3s and gearing it up might be the best way to go.
I will double check and see if I can get a steel spur maybe HSP do one as maverick themselves don't sell an upgraded spur. 3s and higher gearing is definitely an option if this thing on 4s is causing too much hassle. Currently awaiting the replacement spurs and can't wait to get this fixed, back out and hopefully have a more successful time 🙌
@@beyondRC I never found one 😔 There is a steel one for the Nitro, but it's MOD1 and bigger, so you would have to cut a hole at the bottom of the chassis for it.
Just discovered your channel.... Loving it. Just got back into the rc hobby
Loving the videos keep em coming 🙏💪
Cheers mate! 👍👍👍

If I come home and something hasn't broken, it's a bloody miracle.
