There needs to be a remake of the original Donkey Kong on the Switch. Not only would that make sense with K. Rool’s inclusion in SSBU, but also the fact no Donkey Kong Country game has EVER been remastered...
This looks so promising. That said....Screen tearing is pretty brutal right now. But if the crew that made this got this far I'm sure they'll smooth it out.
The only critique I could find, and it's very insignificant, is that it looks like kongs and objects thrown or pushed gain way too much forward momentum. For example, when jumping after a roll you seem to go extremely fast, much more so than in original games. Same goes when throwing kongs, or barrels, they go left/right way too fast and far. Finally, when you pushed the tire in part 1, you barely touched the tire, but it rolled for more than one screen in distance. Otherwise game looks great!

What they did here is a ROM hack. They took landscapes,baddies, and other things from all three games then crammed it together to make "new levels"feat all 4 Kongs. The real talent is Rare ACTUALLY creating the dkc games back before CGI was a thing

I don't remember the mushrooms from any of the original three games 🤔 but lined that jungle stage. Great concept overall.
