I decided to add some gold to my portfolio, as the downturn is China is a big worry for Australian companies. So far it is one of the few things in my portfolio not in the red for the last month.
Thanks so much for a great research tutorial, looking up easier ways to research ASX stocks...and with dividends bonus, I'm a subscriber :) have a fab day.
When Parrahub is built the units will be worth twice with the 30,000 fat car spaces, Japanese maglev to Melbourne via Canberra and Albury and 5,000 well serviced four ensuit bedroom units.
Hi Tracey, could you tell me the better way to own an ETF such as ownership of Vanguard shares or being in a Vanguard portfolio position run by Vanguard. Thanks in advance. Love your work
Thanks Tracey , Could you please tell us why you included WHC as being consistent dividend payer , but said FMG was not consistent , when WHC paid almost no dividend in 2020 , paid no dividend at all in 2021 , while FMG has yielded big dividends every year for the last 5 years ? (and the share price has increased by nearly six times .)
It's really a gut feeling sometimes. With FMG (which I do own and like), the dividends have been trending downwards over the last three years. Still a great yield though. With WHC, they didn't pay after the covid period so sometimes I'm okay with that, and they are paying again, and divs look like they are growing again (as they were prior to 2020). I could be wrong, but that was my reasoning :) Happy Investing!
@@TraceyEdwards Thanks for your reply Tracey. I think we will see in the next two weeks , that FMG dividends are growing again , possibly up by 20% or more , while WHC dividends will decline this year , but will increase in the longer term thanks to their acquisition of BHP's coal assets. Exciting times..
Love your content. Is it better to pick a company with great growth over 5 years tho dividend is slightly lower then your top 5? Referring to CSR for example.
Do you mind if i ask how old you are? because i saw how invested in dividend stocks you are and i got really disheartened. How long did it take to get to 4000 dollars a month in dividends? what age did you start/where you are now?
because it's increasing rather than paying out the same each time. No guarantee that it'll continue to increase like it is though. Something to keep watch of :)
Yes, please do etf/index funds high yield dividend.
Thanks Tracey, I never get tired of these types of video's.
Would be great to see the same video but for ETFs and another one for LICs😊 thanks

Hi Tracey, what do you think about MXT & PL8? Considering they offer high dividends (8.59% & 5.6%) and low volatility Thanks

I buy them through my trading platform rather than directly from Vanguard, but either way is fine.

Maybe. I’d definitely consider it 😊
Investing for dividends is investing in companies that have nothing better to do with the money than pay it out to shareholders

How do you access the Commsec stocks data on their website?
Hello. I found this analysis to be very professional. Congratulations.
What is Franking? Why do some have 100% and others 0%?
franking refers to how much company tax has been paid. 100% franking is good for most investors because they'll get the tax benefit come tax time :)
Thank you very much.
You're the best :-)@@TraceyEdwards
very informative👌
Thank you so much Tracey!
Thanks Tracey. Stability of NWH listed as only 83.7%. ?

Thank you for the vid!
Haven't WHC stated they won't pay a dividend in March due to buying another mine and using the cash to expand the company?
Did they? Interesting. I actually don't mind that, if they are buying more assets. Worth it to keep an eye on then. :)
@@TraceyEdwards Yes the 12 month price prediction is $15
Great idea for a video, thank you.
Next video: is it safe to invest with investment apps?
Thank you, Tracey.

Your thoughts on Yan coal (YAL)?
I bought last week and I'm up 10% already with a consistent 10% dividend. What's not to love
Fat fingers. 20% dividend
YAL was the number one dividend large stock in 2023.
