Funnily enough if you play by yourself you’ll get both the arbiter and master chief as friendly allies for the first mission It makes you feel like your just one of the marines following chiefs around lol
Spectacular supercut. It's very wholesome to see you guys fight alongside the AI marines for some reason. A pattern emerges, which is 'Halo is more hardcore than 40K when you're just a dude, also melee combat is the most terrifying'. While being sniped instantly or stuck by plasmas is terrifying, being up close is way more scary with these Covenant. Also, these videos have such 'bros playing Halo co-op energy', mod or not, complete with all the highlights like getting spawn-trapped, shooting each other 'accidentally', using each other like spawn platforms to try and get some progress... really nostalgic and fun.
I would like to see 343i or other developers tackle a trooper/marine/ODST campaign set during moments of the human-covenant war the fans haven't seen yet.
@Dave-me3bi if it's any help (depending on which part you guys are stuck on) I usually funneled them through a small area and used the plasma pistol and battle rifle combo but good luck I can't wait to see it

Those flood missions as normal marines makes you realise how scary the flood is
The Flood infecting all the corpses they leave around to help take the bridge was a horrifying highlight.

We started H2 first but we wanted to do 4 player H3 first with our friends. Also H2 legendary is harder because of the checkpoint resets
What skulls and difficulty did you guys play with on?
We played legendary with some skulls equipped such as tilt and some others to make it more challenging
