Thank you for your comment and inquiry.We have been using the Garmin GTR 225 Comm Radio for almost 2 years now. It has worked flawlessly! We do not use a separate audio panel. The built is intercom does an excellent job. It is easy to find the frequencies you want. The 10 watts give a good clear signal.

Hello, anyway to find out how I can hear my passenger when tower or ATC is talking? It cuts off in cabin communication everytime someone else talks. Thanks and great video.

@@WVeagle77 Got my plane back after the major avionics upgrade and would have to agree with you - numerous radio checks (all positive, "Five by Five" and so forth) and an amazing ease of use. A very well thought out radio indeed. All the Best!
Good video, thanks for sharing. I just had one installed in my Tripe. Actually, when the radio is on though, the intercom isn't necessarily on. I found this out yesterday. My passenger and I couldnt hear each other, so pressed ICS button and had to enable the Intercom. I still have an issue with it, but unrelated.
Thank you for the additional information. We've been using the new radio since about May 1. The intercom mode was already on for us, but you're right, users can turn that feature on or off beginning with the ICS button. We have had absolutely no problems with the Garmin GTR-225.
