your family reminds me of the old days with mine. unfortunately the older ones have gone and the rest are scattered all over the world. The decorations were very tasteful. Congrats to your sister and husband. I pray they enjoy a truly happy union.
Thank you for sharing "culture" which we all appreciate and enjoyed viewing. Blessings to the bride and groom.Another great Vlog. Much thanks my "Trini" sister.
loved the decorated bedi, I was telling my kids look batman, I wished I knew your family I love seeing togetherness I got teary eyed as if my sister got married. I wish them all God's blessings.
This video brings back memories from so many weddings in the past. I can't explain when last I saw a Dhan Kutay ceremony. I'm in Vancouver, Canada for a Punjabi wedding rn and the traditions are so different from ours. No lawa no maticoor no aatla either. The food was great though lol.
All these traditions are slowly dying but we as the younger generation have to keep it alive. I went to a Gujrati wedding last year and it was very different as well, but the food was on point lol
This exactly same as our Mehndi ceremony a day or two prior to the Nikah/Wedding ceremony in Pakistan. The henna/mehndi patterns and even the bollywood mehndi song is the same .... :-D Awesome mehndi pattern work by the girls .. very intricate. Love your Vlogs as they remind me of simple pleasures back home.
First of all thanks for sharing your culture and these special moments of your family. To the bride and groom congrats and much love and happiness. Everything looks amazing. Love the batman dance. Hope you do the corn soup video with Batmansoon .Can't wait for the next video.
wow just brought back some childhood memories there ty...! haven't been to a Hindu Wedding in decades....very nice 2c it again....very traditional they still do the serving of the food on the leaf?
I'm happy to bring back memories for you. Yes we still serve on the leaf, however, now it's hard to get leaves (you have to get a permit to cut the leaves in certain areas). To make things easier, we bought the imitation leaves in the pack, it does the job nonetheless
Some sadness ... though enjoyable when I look at these videos .... never was able to enjoy and experience my own Hindu wedding... which did not happen - Indian weddings are always the most great occasions never to be missed ... ensure you do not miss out when it's your turn!!! 🇬🇧 🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷
Thanks for this video! I loved how you explained each thing. I was wondering is dhan paddy with the shell on it? Or is it washed deshelled rice? Also I noticed your aunt pouring the dhan into the fire, why is that? Is the dhan used to make some kind of sweet for the bride to eat or something else? Very interested in learning more as I’ll be attending my first Hindu wedding soon
