I love B1s cuz it makes army building easy, but there’s no point in army building if it’s not canonically accurate. LEGO has failed us with this. We want more Separatist figs and original ideas. Stop recycling the same sets over and over again!
Lego should add more variety to the Separatists again just like the old sets. B1 Battle Droids should get new pieces for more limb movements. Bring back the B2 Battle Droids. Bring back the BX Battle Droids. Bring back the IG-100 MangaGuards with a new body and updated printings. Please add the Crab Droid which they didn't from the 2022 AT-TE and instead we got another Spider Droid. Bring back the Droidekas with new variants like the Sharpshooter. And finally, bring back the Tactical Droids too. Lego hasn't made a single Separatist ship but they should do it. - Recusant-class light destroyer - Lucrehulk-class battleship - Munificent-class star frigate - Providence-class carrier/destroyer - Separatist Supply Ship - A remake of The Malevolence (Subjugator-class heavy cruiser)
@@xguy2950 The Malevolence doesn't appear in Season 2 or 3 as the ship first appears in Season 1 Episode 2 until its destruction by hyperspace ramming towards a nearby moon in Episode 4, "Destroy Malevolence".
There are very few sets thst are themed around the Sepratists since 1999, 3 of them are MTTs, 3 are AATS, 4 Vulture droids, 2 Tri-fighters, 3 spider droids, Grievous speeder, Grievous bike, Grievous ship, and a battle pack from 2006. If you disclude remakes or re-releases, you have 9 unique sets in total, 3 belonge to General Grievous, and the Vulture droids and Tri-fighters came bundled with republic ships half the time
Yeah tbh, it's not necessary but it would be nice to try and give it more possible poses. Like what Kaleb said is that it needs better durability in the clips
A Droid battlepack with one, maybe two buildable droidikas. 1 bx commando droid, 1 super battle Droid, and 2 b1 battle droids(or swap them for the other two figs above) . would go fire.
If they made a separatist flagship set like the invisible hand it could have a lot of droids. General Grievous, 2x Magnagaurd, 2x super battledroid, 2 or 3 regular battle droids. I would love to see that in a set or if they ever make a UCS Separatist flagship that would be awesome.
My main problems: - the stiff droid arms and fixed together legs - no good recent remakes of sets - no good new MTT (CIS version)? And please, something like the 2007 one and not the 2014 one - no frigate? - no Invisible Hand? - no great army builder sets (if there are or would be potential canditates, they would throw in 2 really expensive figures like Ahsoka that would add an additional +40 €
That moulding cost for a possible droid arm is an unnecessary cost that could be better spent elsewhere imo. The only thing the droids really NEED is more fortified clips for the legs and arms so they don’t break as easily. Maybe it could use legs that separate as well, but imo it’s just not nearly as important as durability and a little extraneous for purposes besides stop motion
I bought the Obi-Wan jedi star fighter, i was like well logically the have to have a vulture droid for him to dog fight with, right? NOTHING! What the hell is Lego thinking?
the solution to fix battle droids arms and legs less cracking maybe pin hole arms if you back to bionicle marhi minfigure back in 2007 the arms were meant to less crack
The thing that make me laugh is that for a kid there are a lot of clone sets and 0 droid sets. Like cmon what the clone are figthing? You just basically have onky 1 faction
i hope lego updates clone and B1 battle droid back packs with a new mold that goes on the neck like their already made lego backpacks but for clones and a droid version with an antenna cus the tile stud on the stud back neck piece is annoying and too inaccurate
Okay, few things. First of all, it would be nice if you mentioned why we don't get any super battle droids, commando droids, tactical droids, magna droids ect. Because all those had really brittle legs. Lego would have to redesign those parts, if not reinvent whole minifigs from the begining since they most likely don't have moulds anymore. And making new mould is expensive. SBD would require at least three new parts, and then every other minifig on that list would also require at least one or two new parts. That's quite a lot for something no longer mainstream in Starwars media. It's cheaper to just put regular B1 in set. I'm not saying it's impossible, but I would argue that without something big like a line of anniversary sets or UCS centered around CIS, it's just not worth it. Especially since Starwars has ongoing series that require new moulds. The most likely candidate is commando droid with regular legs anyways tho And the idea of changing b1 models.... Not only look above for why that's not gonna happen, but also b1 is perfectly fine. It looks accurate and doesn't have any major issues with being too fragile. Something that more articulate moulds would most likely struggle with. So although I agree with premise, we can't expect much. Today if we will even get STAP or Droideka, it's a win. Or hell, if we even get Separatist set at all, that's something.
@@Trimd yeah, it would be awesome. I think it should have 3 regular battle droids, 2 Super battle droids and 1 tactical battle droid. That would be great

That's really sad to think about. Thankfully we're getting some droids in the new 2024 battle pack, but we really need a new MTT or other CIS tank.
It’s honestly hard to make a droid army because droids are just so neglected. It’s kind of hard to recreate the clone wars with only clones :(
Yes, unless you're buying them online it's very hard to amass droids
I have 12 droids from a single transporter plus some I had before. I don't think I'll need more for now.
