whilst the intent is appreciated, half of them sets are not retiring this year. This can be extremely misleading and damaging to new "investors" which would purchase based on videos rather than due diligence.

Cool vid. Btw, you have any MBS Mos Eisley sets? Also, I am definitely not opposed to buy a set just one year before it retires. Look at the Mos Eisley for example. Some people were thinking to buy that set for resale in late November, expecting Black Friday deals to purge overstocked quantities of the set. Turns out, the time to buy was May 1st. That's a six month difference right there. Six months earlier hold time, for a BIG set, too. I'm also in favor of 1 year early if it's a very good deal, so long as you have excess storage space and you still have the funds to get very discounted sets at the end of a set's lifecycle at the end of the year.

I love the voice actor for the old LEGO commercials. He really did a great job.
