Payton, Barry, Desmond Mason, Rashard Lewis and later Ray Allen - Seattle had great, exciting backcourt but their frontourt was: Reggie Evans, Calvin Booth, Predrag Drobjnak, Jerome James and Danny Fortson. What a contrast
@@Lorenshyne Yeah the frontcourt was always below average. When I was editing the video the amount of passes they would drop and open layups they would miss was INSANE. They sold on so many flashy passes from Brent. That’s why he would mostly pass to the backcourt players.
I love what you have done with these Barry's videos. It was one of my favorite players back then and watching now soooooooooo many plays makes me HAPPY. Thanks :)
Came into the league with ridiculous hops and the ability to finish at the rim, then won two championships as a specialty corner shooter. Great career.
I wondered how his game didn’t turn him into an allstar .. dude had all the tools. Passing, scoring, shooting and was athletic. How is it that he didn’t atleast have 5+ seasons averaging 18ppg 7ast per game?
All of those 18 minutes are spectacular!!!
Agreed
So underrated.
In the modern game he would’ve been a multiple time all star selection. His one PG season for Sonics is a fantasy top 40.
I have been living in the Seattle area since 1991. Shawn Kemp and Brent Barry are 2 of my favorite players who played for the Seattle Sonics.
how about Calvin Booth?
Dude had an unlimited arsenal of offensive weapons, could really be a deadly scoring machine if he wanted to....
7:54 that shamgod was nasty
Bones, Rod Strickland, and AK-47 are in a dead heat for most underrated player ever.

So much fun to watch. He's at the three point line, head fakes, takes one dribble and goes sky high.
Thanks again I went several of those games in Seattle 🔥⚡️
Manu was a lot like Barry esp with their passing ability. They also played 4 seasons together and share 2 championships.
Brent Barry Sonic years was fantastic!!!!

BONES the perfect nickname
Thank you so much!!!
Exceptionnel !!!
Thanks man!!! ❤
The GOAT
Poor man's Pete Maravich with real hops though!
Dr J said in his (Brent's) rookie year, he reminded him of a combination of himself and Pistol Pete.

He wasn't made a priority it seems
@@solomontrump That was a waste of talent tbh.
@@Mr.PR2000 there were a lot of underutilized players from those days
@@solomontrump True I always had this belief that Tony Kukoc would’ve been a superstar if he played the right era like today.,
Because he was white and they underestimated the heck out of him.
This is who I wanted to play like and used his creativity you can see where I got my game from ⚡️Bones
I'm scared for my upcoming video... I got too much DOPE stuff! :D
Awesome sauce
bernt bary
Totally forgot he played in seattle
Im taking Rick and Brent Barry over LeBalco and Bronny every time
Brent Barry was a athletic freak, but he wasn't that good
18 minutes of amazing plays, but he just wasn't that good🤦🏻♂️🙄
