I’m a bit confused on the non competitive antagonist’s effect on the receptor site? I thought by binding at a different site that it changes the shape of the actual binding site therefore blocking the agonist.
What if a patient will take a receptor agonist and antagonist at the same time, what are the factors that will affect the manifestation of the effect of both drugs?
