What sweet memories of reading 'A Little Princess' to your daughter when she was a newborn. ❤ I like the sound of 'Over the Edge of the World.' I've had the ebook version of this for a few weeks, but I just found a nice used hardcover last week. I'll probably read it next year though because, like you, I'm in the mood for plenty of fiction in December. 😊 Looking forward to hearing what you read for the rest of the year!
Woooo Metabolical sounds interesting!!! Also it sounds very wise to introduce some fun, light reads if you've been feeling a bit over with non fiction - listen to yourself ^^ Take care and good to have you back!
Hi mima I used to be an avid reader so I enjoy listening to you talk about good books. I wanna start reading again ❤. I'm so glad you got to spend time with abuelo. My favorite things to read are mysteries like James Patterson but I would love some recommendations from you
@MyMessyBookshelf I'm not sure but she bought 3 new books recently and I'll find out what they are and I'll let you know what they are. What about me? Do you have any suggestions? I definitely want and need to get back to reading
Hi Nicky! Welcome back! It did feel like a long time haha but it’s really not! I’m glad you got away for a bit and could visit family, I hope you had a nice time. You’ve read a lot. There is no rush to finish things before the end of the month, read at whatever pace suits you and mix in some fun things! I feel the pressure too so I get it, but I don’t think it does either of us any good 😊 Good to see you again!
@@ellenmadebookclub I don’t usually feel pressured like that. Maybe because it was nonfiction? I need to remember I’m not getting graded 😅 and it is good to hear from you!
This is The Aunt, lol. I am so proud of this young lady!! We had a great time and I'm so grateful you came to visit. Keep up the great work!!

@@Curious-Cat It is so eye opening! Makes sense that all the junk we put in our bodies (especially here in the states) impacts our health and mind!

I’m so curious about Salt! I loved hearing about your relationship with your daughter and the book A Little Princess.
@@Maeve_Ever_Books thank you so much! I loved sharing it with her! And yes, they made salt intriguing to a whole population of readers hahaha

@@MyMessyBookshelf Haha yes nonfiction can feel a bit more like school
You didn’t sound like you were rambling. I didn’t know neurovember was a thing. I would’ve participated. Also adding Metabolical to my reading list.
@@literarylayer Thank you. And yes it is such an eye opening book!
Oh if you like Dr Lustig, you should read Why We Get Sick by Dr Ben Bickman.. it's very good. I like listening to his TH-cam
@@Thecatladybooknook_PennyD oooh I have heard of it! It does sound like a topic I’d be interested in! Thanks for the recommendation!
