Carbon steer tubes are actually pretty popular nowadays. Some would even argue they're stronger than alloy steer tube forks because there's no bonding area on the fork. Maybe this could even be a topic for a future tech video? Carbon steer tube vs. alloy steer tube!
Wow youre right the frame to get soon wow thats all beautiful all around thats absolutely poetry at the highest level in engineering 💯 pedals should have been Barbie pink
complete build comes in at 18lbs. Which is really good for the larger XXXL frame, and there's still a fair amount of weight optimization that could be done to it! (ti bolts, carbon bars, etc.)
We cover all the component sizes in the video, but the frame is a XXXL (22.25 tt) and features the same geometry as the quartz frame which you can see here - fulltiltbike.com/products/radio-raceline-quartz-race-frame-spectral-silver-black
Racers still run narrow in the front? Put a 2.1 PowerBlock or 2.2 Maxxis torch and the bike will ride itself. Bigger diameter plus who needs additional weight reduction in the front?
Yes, it helps reduce the stall when riders drop their tire out of the gate. The bigger the tire, the harder it is to get the front tire up to speed. For riders who don't carry their wheel out of the gate, it doesn't really matter. But for us here at the shop, we find the 1.75 to be the optimal tire size.
That frame looks awesome, carbon steer tube is brave. Factory dads gonna need to get torque wrenches or there are going to be a lot cracked steers

Slick Build Man 😎🏁
What a sick scoot!
Gotta agree that's a sweet-looking frame!! Curious as to pricing...
Pricing has yet to be finalized, but we'll update everyone once we know for sure.
I need one!
whats the weight for a built like that?

Bad azz bike
What size TT did you go with in your build?
It's a XXXL so a 22.25" top tube. Then we got a 54mm stem on there too. We like our bikes on the longer side here!
What's the coating on the track?
it's soil tac, basically a glue mixture sprayed over top the dirt.
Throw out the specs!! And thanks!
