Everytime I listen to your musical interludes, they always reveal new flourishes and melodic imagination. You play with your heart and your soul, which is all any musician can hope for. You are an inspiration for all of us guitar players, and those who just appreciate the joy of hearing someone who clearly is born to make the most brilliant music. Keep it up, I always look forward to your videos, I know that they take time to record edit and render, but they are truly brilliant. Thank you
Man, thank you. Your comment was carefully worded and I really appreciate what you’re saying. It does take time to create and nurture and polish and edit and then finally upload….. so when a comment comes in like this one, it makes everything so very worth it. Thanks man 🙏
That was bloody fantastic, your rendition of the now infamous Tobias Red Jaguar piece was wonderfully played, it was also just different enough to have a bit of you in there as well. Congratulations! I now know why I’ve met you in the comments section on that video, you must have watched it more times than anyone! Love the OJ, it’s perfectly specced and I wish you many happy hours together🥂
Such a beautiful Spanish piece with those thick, rich tones. Excellent choice. Nobody on youtube got nuthin' on you Paul. You make a guitar speak and sing like no other. We should really congratulate the guitar on having you as the owner!
The Oswald Paul we I’m pleased it arrived in perfect condition and🙈 it’s absolutely brilliant, playing is as always 🤔 yes outstanding my friend, I’m sure that you will have many years of fun with that one 🙏🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Hi Paul, it's your buddy Luis. Congrats on the new aquisition. It sounds warm and lovely. This is right up your alley for sure. You are blessed to have it,so now you can bless us by playing it often for us all. Cheers from Philly,Luis
My friend Luis, delighted to see you drop by my little TH-cam channel, I hope you are well. I was using the Carlos Santana pick the other day, and just trying to channel his energy…… it’s still a weird shape for me to handle 🤣, but it’s a pleasure to be holding it. Cheers Luis
Wow, Paul! Your playing, the Oswald, the strings, the people you recommend & refer to... they're all so classy. One detail: your playing on the rhythm circuit sounds excellent, I'm sure Leo would approve. There's definitely jazz in that Jazzmaster.
Amazing! Congrats on the new guitar Paul, definitely set up to be a guitar you pick up and wonder down experimental lane, who knows what youll find down there! Also the rosewood Nick is managing to find is stunning.
That was my first thought. Ive been lucky to play some seriously nice pricey new guitars, but nearly all of them sounded new, its a thing you have to know to get for sure haha. But this thing sounded old in the best possible way. That said - i have never once tried flatwounds so… maybe thats a thing!
Took me a second to realize you were in e flat but then it was a joy to play along to that great tune. Excellent choice of strings, i love my Thomastik strings on my parlor acoustic! Have a great weekend🎸🤘🎸
triple great playing! his playing is so musical instead of showing off of licks or how fast you can play which 90% of youtube guitarist are doing whenever i watch his playing it feels like i'm invited to little concert or something thank you paul where can i buy your t-shirts on the way out hahaha
I literally heard the first 5 seconds of the guitar and I had to pause to add this comment. That tone is luxurious!! My friend! This guitar is just incredible! #cheers
Paul, my friend--though we've never actually met--congratulations on the delivery of your Oswald jazzmaster! I hope that it fulfills your wildest expectations and serves you well for years to come! Cheers Paul!
I’ve just stumbled upon you4 channel, Paul and very glad that I did! Lovely playing and amazing tone- much better than many other TH-cam guitarists who do have the fancy interfaces etc- but also great engaging style and personality. And as for the Oswald Jazzmaster, wow I want one!
New Guitar Day, and the sun is shining on your long-awaited Jazzmaster. What a thrill! This guitar has such a cool 60's vibe it's as though by magic all the notes and tones are emerging from the instrument without you touching it! I can also hear "Sleepwalk" ready to burst out all of a sudden. Lovin' that lazy whammy bar. But seriously, I don't think I've heard you playing better, Paul.
Watched the video a couple of days ago wanting to reply but in the middle of a move right now..... Finally!!!! Ohhh my it sounds so full and all the notes ring out into wonderful tones. More than I expected it to be. Thank you for sharing Paul. Beautiful!!! Love you all Bill.
Congratulations, Paul! That guitar suits you perfectly. I wanted to say that the guitar sounds amazing but in fact, it's your playing that is amazing! Cheers!
Beautiful playing and gorgeous guitar! I just got a Jazzmaster a week ago (also with a roasted neck) and just love it. I looked up Oswald guitars and think I should order one before his prices go up. Awesome and congratulations!🎉🍾🎊
Yeah, I gotta say I’m very happy with both my Oswalds (Strat and Jazzmaster). His build time is definitely getting to be a longer wait though…. which I guess is only natural as his popularity grows. All in all I’m quite the fan of his work !
Looks and sounds fantastic Paul. Anticipation makes a new guitar day even sweeter I've found. Been waiting along with you since you announced that you had ordered this one. Congrats!
Paul , thats your Masterpiece. ( No matter it's from Tobias ) Your playing is brilliant and so is this Oswald. There is definitive a great danger to get addicted. And yes , that thing sounds better ( in my opinion ) in your hands and with your style of playing than any other instrument of yours. And now think about, how this sound could improve ? Yes , with a Deluxe Reverb , a Vibroverb or a Princeton.
@@paulstaffordcook8799 Hi from Canada. I've been watching and listening carefully to all your videos, Paul. Extremely well done, informative and the perfect cadence. Your playing is exquisite.
