On this episode my 2 day backpacking trip takes us near Mount Becher, down into the valley and up to Drabble lakes were we setup camp. We summit Mount Drabble and I get dumped on the way back to camp for the night. In the morning we pack up and drop off our bags near Slingshot Meadows and summit Indianhead Mountain then hike out of Strathcona Provincial Park.

I’m sorry you are hurting. I think you shared in a way that was respectful of the situation and only spoke to your own feelings and perspective.
I’m sure she is a lovely person, just not your lovely person . And that is ok. There will be a time many years from now where you look back and know that everything happened just as it should.
Take this from a 48 year old mother of two who’s heart was broken a time or two. At the time it was unbelievably painful and self doubt took over. And here I am years and years later with my wonderful husband and we raised two wonderful children. It all went exactly how it was supposed to 😊

Dude, why are you publishing your break up story to the world? I understand it was an awkward moment, but we don’t see things from Claire’s perspective and thus you are victimizing yourself and demonizing her. Most inappropriate. My question to you is…Did you ask her permission to publish? This is her story as much as yours.
I'm telling the story in basic terms. If I didn't include this then you would see me go from happy to sad with no explanation. There is no way for me to make a video with that level of jarring difference in my mood and that is not fair to me as she knew I was going to film a video and knew she was going to break up with me on that hike. It was not the place to do that, I keep sacrificing myself for others and I always end up worse for it. I only said nice things about her in the video, not demonizing her. I told the story how it happened in a pleasant manner.
