    VIDEO #47 ATMOSVERSE NOTES
    - Per the video description this takes place in Room #84 of the VSB Secret Base in the Arctic, first seen in Video #41 (Pulling Spy Bugs Out of Your Hair)
    - This is part of Agent SleepWalker's ongoing recuperation program following their removal from the capsule they had been using to dive travel in Video #41; the VSB intern also treated them in Video #42 (Physical Therapy)
    - The term dive travel, referring to the act of travelling to another world, was first used by the Agent/Spy Heroine in Video #45 (Relaxing Ambush)
    - The hippocampus is most important for dive travellers because it is the part of the brain responsible for spatial memory; as noted in Video #41 SleepWalker uses technology to determine their motion in the interlayer between time and space
    - The hippocampus is also responsible for the transferrence between short-term and long-term memories, which may explain the post-dive memory problems that the Agent mentioned in Video #41
    - "Of course I won't miss it." As shown in Video #42, SleepWalker's distinctive sleep valve is located on the right side of their neck under their chin, so the intern is unlikely to miss the hippocampus stimulation point there

    When my son was little, he used to love tracing over my palms with his tiny fingers. I loved the way it felt so I'd let him do it as long as he wanted. I honestly think this was my first asmr experience (that I can remember, anyway). This video took me right back to those days of him being small instead of the moody teenager who towers over me that he is today lol. Thank you so much for this, Anastasia! ❤❤❤

      Similarly, as a child, I used to play with my mother by pretending I was a hairdresser and thus to be washing, drying and styling her hair. She would let me do that for an hour long and even more because of how relaxing she found the experience. I introduced her to asmr about a year ago and she's been a huge fan ever since.

      I'm a bus monitor on a pre-Kindergarten bus and there's nothing like a curious, gentle-hearted preschooler who thinks nothing of taking your hand, and either tracing the lines on your palm...or in one very specific case two weeks ago, one little boy asking very pointedly about the cut on my left ring finger, and empathetic tears welling up when he saw the bandage. (His mom is also big-hearted like that, so I am thankful he has a mom who encourages his gentle nature.)

      My comment will be hard to see into the abyss but damn.. the end of the video really tilted my mind about something.. Imagine, just imagine, if we could create gloves, with full sensors all around it, kinda like the ones we can imagine on this video, and being plugged to the pc it could replicate exactly at every points locations where we"re being touched, with different strenght level pressure.and I KNOOOOW these could actually be created, similar things allready exist. Well I must be old or have bad headphones or something because I couldn’t hear ANY “high pitched” sounds so many of you are complaining about. For me it was a completely relaxing absolutely perfect ASMR experience as always ahhhhh 💕👍🏼

      Maybe it's the earphones although when I play this video on loop using my phone's speakers I can still hear the high pitched sounds, even the one with the higher pitch. I must admit the one with the higher pitch sounds like a broken earphone or radio static because it's so faint. I'm so amazed by this video's details. I did hear that as we age, we're less sensitive to high pitch sounds. I think I saw it in Brooklyn Nine Nine; young kids and people in their earily 20s can hear more wavelengths of high pitched sounds. I think in the news they called it The Mosquito.

      I have cheap earbuds and couldn't really hear it until I turned my volume up lol. I usually listen to things pretty quiet tho cus I listen to fall asleep

    • @TheCarlScharnberg
      @TheCarlScharnberg 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I heard it without headphones, and my volume is at a normal level. It was VERY unpleasant. So it might be an age-related thing that you couldn't hear it, though I am in my early 30s.

    I dont know if it's intended to or not but this definitely feels like this could fit in as an in-between episode in your sci-fi series, somewhere in the first 5 episodes probably.
    That's my headcannon anyway, since I've been dying to get back to that series lol. Aries and her world are just so fascinating to explore!

    Insane tingles from the yellow light impact machine. But I have a tiny remark, the other one with blue light, the sound was a little unpleasant for someone who has a slight tinnitus, so I would not recommend it. Otherwise great video as always

    I heard a high pitched sound, and thought well, this is a bit distracting... and then realized it wasn't from the video, it was from my earphones. I've yet to recognize that high pitched noise Anastasia warned of, and now I'm getting genuinely curious lol

    • @echoing202
      @echoing202 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Now I'm hearing it and wondering how the hell I managed not to hear it until now, but the answer is probably in the volume. If overall sound is quieter the high pitched noise becomes less noticeable.
      That said, it is rather annoying. I usually listen to asmr to tune out similar sounds in my bedroom, and while the noise isn't bad enough to stop me from listening to this video, I keep fixating on it and it really doesn't help me relax and sleep.
