I wish you luck with Pacific Vortex! I dnfed it. I might have to pick up the caper book and try that instead. I love mass paperback. Feels great in my hands and when you buy used they often smell great!
Uh oh! Never a good sign when you learn someone DNF'd a book on your TBR! Here's hoping I'll be able to power through it. The bar is set really low since I know the backstory on the book; hopefully that'll be enough to carry me through. I noticed the other day Mediterranean Caper was published 10 years before Pacific Vortex. Guess I'll find out how much his writing improved in those 10 years. I have the opposite problem with mass paperbacks. They're awkward to hold because the spines are so stiff & the font it too small. God, I'm getting old! lol
