I would disconnect the battery first though, 1 out 10 you can burn the motherboard by doing that -) also the connector should be well taped after the screen replacement, they might come loose after some time, talking from 20 years of experience here.

Following this caused the display to crack as the tape is very strong.

AS i am in this field...and i never saw such (fragile) laptop in the world
