Nice video...very peaceful country..Japanese people have their own peaceful culture....Japan is simply the best..Everything is clean,people don't smoke every where,no crime to speak of..The Japanese people are the best,friendly,very helpful ,polite...How lucky it would be to live in a country like this... Beautiful video! Did you need to get a permit of check with the local authorities before flying the drone? We are going there in May and are thinking of bringing our drone but can't find any specific rules to say if we can or cannot fly the drone in Kamikochi. Thanks!
Hello! Thanks for the kind words. At that point of time when i flew the drone, i think there weren't any rules yet, as not many people flew drones back then i supposed... but i'am guessing things might have changed now.. its best to check with the tourism board of Kamikochi i reckon.. there rangers patrolling the area occasionally as far as i know..

I actually stayed a month in Takayama, doing a working holiday at an organic farm, there are daily buses from Takayama town to Kamikochi, the frequency is about 8 - 10 times a day i believe, there are also buses that can bring you to Kamikochi from Tokyo, if you do not mind the longer journey :)

You drive to a certain area then must take a bus to the area where there is a hotel. You can also camp I believe.

I'm not sure, but you don't need a tour guide, it's easy to get to kamikochi, there are buses to bring you there from the town of Takayama.

こういう場所を紹介するビデオは、好きだけど、罪深くもある。一気に外国人が増えて日本人が泊まりにくくなることや、外国人が軽装備で山に入り遭難してしまう事。特に「槍⇆穂高岳」ルートは岐阜県側「滝谷」に落ちると人体は肉のミンチ状態になり遺体捜索もままならなくなる。即死です。日本人でも山を知り尽くしたプロのルートです。ロープを使うほどではないのですが、この山の恐ろしい点は、ローブを切り裂いてしまうほど鋭角な節理が入っていてロープが切れやすい。空気が薄いのでクラっときます。空は、青さを越して宇宙が透けて見える紫色になります。
言いたい事。
1. この山塊に子供を連れて行ってはいけない。
2. タバコを吸う人、貧血気味の人(女性)は高山病にかかりやすく、転落死しやすいので、2500mと3000mの2回山小屋泊まりをして、体を薄い空気に順化させること。
3. テント泊は基本的はに外国人お勧めできません。上高地の夏キャンプ場ならここまではいいのです。私の経験ですが穂高岳の対岸に「霞沢岳」ってあります。「霞沢小屋」の近くでテント泊をしました。季節は秋、冬用のシュラフにシュラフカバーと万全の備えで行ったのですが、その晩は、寒くて一睡もできませんでし。こんな所に、彼女や子供を連れて来てはだめと思いました。
私は、当時カメラマンで、ハッセルブラッドと三脚とテント・シュラフ一式かついで「霞沢岳」に登ったのですが目的は、穂高岳にのぼるると。あー余計な事をいいそうで止めます。
4. とにかく外国人は来るな、観光(遊び半分)のチャラチャラした格好で来ることお断り。山に関していうと、豚のように無駄太りした白人が来る処ではない。とても危険な山なのです。
外国人に訴えるなら、英語表記の数行で、登山の危険性等の要点だけを記入したらどうでしょうか？
