In my country, Iran, wild calendula grows in spring but they are very small Mostly Have Orange Flowers and their name in our language is "Hemishe Behar" Which Means Eternal Spring
Looks like the perfect flower for our cool climate in northern Michigan. It would be a pretty addition to my deck garden. Cool temps with lots of sun and some shade in the afternooon.
Beautiful flower colors and sizes! Just beautiful ❤ I grew calendulas. But mine flowers are small. When they died and i plucked the dead plants out, I see that roots are knotted. Maybe because of Root-knot nematodes?
Can you suggest flowering seeds suitable for 30-35 degree climate, easy to grow and maintain. Height of plants 2-3 feet for window gardening. Your videos are informative and beautifully narrated 😊 thankyou
Is it necessary to transplant them? Like generally, if I sow the seeds of a flower in a pot and just let them grow in it, will it harm them in any way?
I loved your video!! Hi! I am living in Florida zone 9B just below Tampa. I have calendula seedlings about 1.5 inches now in Feb. 17th. What do you think, will they survive in half shade/half sun in the summer? If you have a chance please let me know. Thank You!

Sir, could you please make a video on companion gardening in containers. I have a balcony garden and was wondering if there are some veggies/herbs or seasonal flowers that can be grown in the pots containing plants such as curry leaves, allamanda, jasmine etc., which are moving into dormancy here in North India. My primary concern is that since we stop fertilizing the soil for these plants during winter, would planting something else that requires regular application of fertilizer adversely impact these permanent plants. Please advise. P.S. I've planted garlic along the rim of my potted roses, desi variety, and both are thriving.
In the long run it will affect plants growth as they face competition (seasonal plant will use soil nutrients which are meant for main/permanent plants) but if you have big pots than plants will do great....some seasonal plants will do great such as marigold, basil , lettuce, kale , spinach, verbena , alyssum, nasturtium, garlic, chives etc as companion plants and they don't require much fertilization once they get established
Pata nahi ab TH-cam old chaneel pe views kyu kam dene laga hai 😢😢 nahi to penle million me view ate the sir ji apke. New logo ke views zyada a rahe hai faltu ke shorts par
My gardenia leaves have all dropped and new leaves are turning brown. Do i remove plant to check for root rot since its winter? Is there something I can do?
They are very sensitive plants ...slight change in weather, watering n fertilization will disrupt them ....change its location ...dig upper 3-4 inch layer of the soil n do not add any sort fertilizer at this phase
