i personally think airplane is a song for insomnias who missed minx. so they made dreamcatcher version of minx kind of song. if you listen carefully you could still find electric guiter element in the song to show that this is still dc although theyre singing what minx song should have been. just they didn't emphasize the electric guitar sound. since many insomnia said they wish they could see dreamcatcher performing minx song at least once. so.. yeah, they give you what you want.
This album was a really different one but like this just shows their talent like you give them a heavy metal song they eat it up and you give them this genre they eat it too but I just hope this dose not become repetitive

Maybe we're all used to the loud and head banging dreamcatcher's style and it might take a couple of listens to like a few songs. But I think the B sides suit the "summer" concepts a lot (remember, it is a summer special mini album) so idk why some are disappointed about this album. Personally, even I'm waiting for a few of these B sides to grow on me, but I definitely like all of the songs.

let me explain it with my fake philosophy knowledge, a heart of the sunflower means how the feeling or what went through in the heart of someone who has a crush on someone else. she always wait fro him, care for him, concern and watch over him but couldn't tell him about her feeling. just like how sunflower always following the sun but couldn't reach it.
i kinda liked this album better than road to utopia, but new days is still their best bside this year (followed by alldaylong), and yap i agree BEcause is way better than odd eye imo

At first sight, it might seem that the song "BEcause" is about toxic/abusive relationships and destructive behavior out of love for a particular person, but it is not. The meaning is different, and it is much deeper. Let's start with the fact that the very name "BEcause" can be interpreted as "The cause of sadness", because "BE" in Chinese is a hieroglyph meaning "sadness", and "cause" is an English word. This turns the whole view of the song. The lyrics in essence about deception (primarily about self-deception) and being obsessed with someone. The MV and song contain the message that our worst enemy is none other than ourselves - the culprits of our sadness. It's not so much that Dreamcatcher was replaced by doubles at the end, but that their dark side, which eventually took over the other, is revealed as the true self as a result of a growing obsession with the obsessive desire to be loved, which pushes them into an endless cycle, where they simultaneously act as perpetrators and victims, as well as puppeteers and puppets. The clip was inspired by the American movie "US" about evil doubles who decided to replace real people (you can see many references, including in the choreography itself). There, as in "BEcause", there are two colors - red and blue. Red represented doubles, while blue represented originals. In the Dreamcatcher clip, it will be the other way around. Red implies their real, while blue is their ideal version. Each time they pretended to be their ideal version (the hourglass symbolizes the temporary nature of pretense and deception), which to some extent brought them satisfaction, but actually played with them, which caused them pain, but since they were unable to resist the temptation (the dark side of Sua, holding out another an apple that she bites off), they continued to wear masks. They wanted to be always loved, and in fact it did not matter who, but with their obsession and creepy behavior, the girls only repulsed others even more. In the end, they reveal their true selves, with the naive hope that the loved one will nevertheless remain on their side. When their true self begins to manifest, some damage has already been done, and it will not be possible to escape from themselves and their sadness.

BEcause 3.Airplane And I know many will disagree but I still like odd eye more than BEcause(but by a very small margin) and whistle is easily one of the best DC songs ever,for me atleast..I found myself revisiting whistle more than BEcause. Also as many say new days is their best bside track(not for me, but I think the song is rll good in general, my opinion is more on the unpopular side) and I don't rll hv anything to say abt airplane. I actually really loves Airplane. I'll be honest when I heard it for the first time, I don't know what to think of it, but after the second time that's when it clicked and made sense to me It might not fit Dreamcatcher's dark concept, but it actually fits their own personality: our Rabbit Leader, Bboya, Aegyo Machine, DongDong, Afghan Hound, Pandami, and our Loud Baby It makes me happy whenever I hear this song, and really reminds me of them
Whistle and heart of sunflower grew on me with more streams haha. Prob because I find the summer sound refreshing since dreamcatcher never did this before xD
