So I started this shawl about 3 or so years ago.... wasn't quite long enough and had to order an extra ball of yarn about 6 months ago but they stopped making this yarn!...Eventually tracked down a ball in France 😂...and finally finished my shawl today!
Just found this tutorial and have already started my project....I am making a cowl with this stitch using lion brand Mandala...and I am LOVING it! Colors are aqua, teal, peach, salmon and white. Thx u for sharing.
I just ❤️it. Thanks to you easy follow instructions, I crocheted my very first cowl.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍thank you. Looking forward to your next project.😄
Thank you so much for this lovely tutorial, as well as all the others. Just started the Larkspur Shawlette project and just love it! So glad I found you here. Keep up the good work!! Blessings from South Africa!
Love this pattern Jennifer love ALL your tutorials! Just when I think I've run out of things to crochet I find another Fiber Flux video! Please keep 'em coming 😊
I just love this wrap. I look forward to having a go at making it. Thank you so much for this tutorial and I would also like to thank you for giving the information in the beginning about the measurements of the yarn, I find this very helpful.
You are an excellent teacher! I've admired this stitch and project and your directions are easy to follow. I'm looking forward to making this with a blue heather yarn.
I love this pattern however, I'd like to know what the multiples are in case I were to make it even longer (perhaps a cute blanket pattern)... thanks so much. Love your videos and your channel...You're a great crochet instructor; very clear and concise.
Love the colors on this yarn AND the easy pattern. I have a question, if you wanted to make the scarf a little wider what increments of stitches would it take to keep the balance of the wrap correct. Like increments of 5 or 4 stitches, or as long as your total is even, etc. I hope my question is understandable.
I love this pattern!!! Kind of reminds me of very colorful long transit train!! Making one with Red Heart Super Saver in Papaya. Using a 5 mm hook because the 6.5 doesn’t have the texture I wanted. Looked messy when I did the 6.5. Can I show this to you on FB? 😊 thanks!
Hi Jennifer I just wanted to let you know that this is the first video I have done from fiber flux ....you are a wonderful teacher and made it extremely easy for me to follow.😄thank u soooooo much....
Hi Jennifer! I was wondering do you think this would work up well using a fingering sock yarn. I have 2 balls in the colour bubblegum? I want to make this wrap.
Awesome! Can't wait to see it! You can't upload a picture on here but you can share it on the Fiber Flux Facebook page: facebook.com/fiberflux/ You can also share it on Instagram or Twitter too, just be sure to tag us @fiberflux so we're sure to see it! Can't wait, it sounds lovely!
Jennifer is there any multiple for the pattern if so what is it and is there any other hooks you can use like an H I or J.. when I use anything bigger I feel clumsy.. also if I go 4 ply how many balls would you suggest please..thank you in advance..love all your tips patterns and reviews on the newest yarns and products..
Hello Linda, I am newer to crochet and would like to try this wrap. I do plan on using a 5.5mm hook. From your comment, do I just keep adding multiples of 4 to the chain to reach the specified pattern length (48 inches)?
+Carrie Murray Hi Carrie. Yes you are right. Just keep doing multiples of 4 until you reach the length that the pattern states, or your own personal required length.
I love this pattern! Question can this be crocheted the other way? Short end first then lengthen as you crochet rows? I would like to make a scarf. Thank you!
Hi, i try to order this yarn but i cannot figure out how much it is. I sent them a contact form but they referred me back to that very same page. How do i order from this site. i do not know how to add the yarn into cart. please help me.
Can you please let me know where you bought the mannequin or stand to put shawls and how much was the cost? I love your tutorials. But when I’m done with the projects I don’t have anything to hang the projects. Thank you Oh and the proper name for the stand?
Thanks. Same question. Really good video. Thank you for NOT having background music which makes it harder, for me anyway, to concentrate on learning to stitch. Also, I've watched a few of your videos, and you talk about how different stitches work with different types of yarn, for example solid color versus variegated. That's really helpful because I usually find the yarn before I find a pattern. I always wind up designing my own stuff.
