We finally return home for a weekend, it’s been a minute. This weekend we had a great time spending time with the family. We were able to visit our horses, we went fishing at Tsaile Lake and Wheatfields Lake, we went to the Canyon de Chelly National Monument overlooks, and we spent time at my (Drew’s) parents garden. *Not in the vlog: Melton went to his brother’s gravesite to pay his respects. His brother served in the military and was a Desert Storm Veteran. Although the weather wasn’t in our favor (was very windy and dusty) we made the best of our trip.
Information on Canyon de Chelly: local businesses have jeep tours, horseback riding tours, and hiking trails. The canyon is dry but sometimes water will run through and it is beautiful. There are several overlooks on the North side and South side of the canyon as well as a visitors center. There are three main hotels available in town.

It dawned on us that our children haven’t experienced canyon de Chelly and it’s beauty, and it’s basically our backyard. Haha. Thanks again for the comment. ❤️👍🏽

That’s where someone threw my purse over the overlook and a ranger found it.
