@Yorikoification flinching would be closing your eyes or reacting when someone feints. You need to pay attention to the punch without fear, and calculate your move.
How would those muscles stay relaxed while waiting to be hit? That makes no sense at all. Leg muscles are not going to make your nervous system less reactive.
There might be some adrenaline rush when 'falling' into hills which lingers for a bit, thus making one less scared. Also the brain may be a bit confused, still thinking about that fall onto hills and trying to react; so the brain might have no time to react for hand to face yet.

This reminds me of something a Tibetan monk told me during my sabbatical… A man is driving down the road and breaks down near a monastery. He goes to the monastery, knocks on the door, and says, “My car broke down. Do you think I could stay the night?” The monks graciously accept him, feed him dinner, even fix his car. As the man tries to fall asleep, he hears a strange sound. The next morning, he asks the monks what the sound was, but they say, “We can’t tell you. You’re not a monk.” The man is disappointed but thanks them anyway and goes about his merry way. Some years later, the same man breaks down in front of the same monastery. The monks accept him, feed him, even fix his car. That night, he hears the same strange noise that he had heard years earlier. The next morning, he asks what it is, but the monks reply, “We can’t tell you. You’re not a monk.” The man says, “All right, all right. I’m *dying* to know. If the only way I can find out what that sound was is to become a monk, how do I become a monk?” The monks reply, “You must travel the earth and tell us how many blades of grass there are and the exact number of sand pebbles. When you find these numbers, you will become a monk.” The man sets about his task. Forty-five years later, he returns and knocks on the door of the monastery. He says, “I have traveled the earth and have found what you have asked for. There are 145,236,284,232 blades of grass and 231,281,219,999,129,382 sand pebbles on the earth.” The monks reply, “Congratulations. You are now a monk. We shall now show you the way to the sound.” The monks lead the man to a wooden door, where the head monk says, “The sound is right behind that door.” The man reaches for the knob, but the door is locked. He says, “Real funny. May I have the key?” The monks give him the key, and he opens the door. Behind the wooden door is another door made of stone. The man demands the key to the stone door. The monks give him the key, and he opens it, only to find a door made of ruby. He demands another key from the monks, who provide it. Behind that door is another door, this one made of sapphire. So it went until the man had gone through doors of emerald, silver, topaz, and amethyst. Finally, the monks say, “This is the last key to the last door.” The man is relieved to no end. He unlocks the door, turns the knob, and behind that door he is amazed to find the source of that strange sound. But I can’t tell you what it is because you’re not a monk.

No don't confuse some charlatans as it's all of them. If you trained int he art you would already know this and not just watching online videos. Real martial artists don't fight for money that is why you won't find them in prize fighting sports. To show the world you are the best is not humbling yourself. Many Asians hate confrontation and is against their nature They surely don't want to have daily confrontations. They seek peace and the Buddha. Only Thailand is the only country that really fight for a living due to poverty and due to culture and history and being that Thais are the most mixed of the Asian ethnicities due to their open history to foreigners and mixing with outsiders so their and against the norm and one of he exceptions. .This is also true of the Philippines as they too have lots of poverty and also mixed with many foreigners . That is why those two counties have many boxers and kickboxers. They do martial arts not to beat someone but to be self assured if the need arises they will be alive and well and not out proving who is the baddest man on Earth.

I just studied this. The man hand was more direct and in his face the first strike. The second strike was wider allowing the eyes to ajust and not be scared.
He got scared because he thought you were going to hit him, and when he realized you weren't going to, he realized there was nothing to be afraid of. In fact, they're all actors.
In addition to the fact that it is a psychological trick where the second blow you already expect it, well there is also a trick with the arm that does not hit, in the first blow it does not announce the blow but with the second it does announce the blow by putting the free arm where the other You can see it (I don't know how to explain it in English so to understand what I mean you should watch the video looking at the arm that doesn't hit)
When you do this, it jolts the brain up, with blood, and oxygen. Also the eyes are connected to the back side of the brain to it helps you from flinching, as it is bounced up absorbing all the stuff in.
This is literally the concept of meditation. You focus on your breathing and body. So your mind and awareness is only concerned about that. No fears, stresses or anxiety in that moment. There’s a reason warriors have practiced it both European and Asian all throughout history. Probably even American native warriors too.

Like when they pull their elbow behind their rib cage, the Lat is fully flexed and you have strong posture -
Once you KNOW its comming again of course its not scarry. Come on Fake Lee, you aint fooling me!!! 😂😂
Fake Lee 😂😂😂😂😂
The Lifting heels is only for calmness doesn't make you fearless in This. He only gets scared at the first part because it was unexpected but not it's expected and now doesn't Flinch at all.
I've known this since I was in elementary school, and I always did that when I was asked to fight by my enemy in the next class and it really changed the way I reacted. I wasn't afraid when there was someone sudden blow 😅
That is a legitimate Bullshido master right there.
This man could tear you apart in seconds. This video doesn't show his fighting ability.
@@jg3019😂😂😂😂I bet you think this is a real trick
You wouldn't last 2 minutes in a real Dojo.
@@jg3019 this has to be bait lol
Although this vid does seem a bit exaggerated, you guys should really look into this dude. He is legit.
Thank you. 🎉
I will try this, but first I will let the other do the exercise first
How'd it go
@@horacecampbell8483did not work all the time for me (tried it on 4 different people, did not allow them to know what was it all about). Only one did not react and it probably was because he never does either way lol. So yeah, breathing in and relaxing does help, but it is mostly about them already knowing what's coming and how it feels
It’s almost as if experiencing an initially scary experience is less scary the second time! Amazing!
Its just a mind game the first one is surprising so our reflexes acts on its on but the second time you know the hand is going to come but it will not hit you. Thank you 😂😂
That's why boxing and other fighting required bouncing or use Ur toe n feet step wen yu get hit,,Bruce use it a lot hea jumping step has almost same lesson
Okay you do the leg the thing, let me hit you… then I’ll let you hit me while I’m flat footed 🤣
It's not even that you're expecting it, look when he does it the second time...he telegraphs SOOOO HARD.
This reminds me of something a Tibetan monk told me during my sabbatical…
A man is driving down the road and breaks down near a monastery. He goes to the monastery, knocks on the door, and says, “My car broke down. Do you think I could stay the night?”
The monks graciously accept him, feed him dinner, even fix his car. As the man tries to fall asleep, he hears a strange sound.
The next morning, he asks the monks what the sound was, but they say, “We can’t tell you. You’re not a monk.”
The man is disappointed but thanks them anyway and goes about his merry way.
Some years later, the same man breaks down in front of the same monastery.
The monks accept him, feed him, even fix his car. That night, he hears the same strange noise that he had heard years earlier.
The next morning, he asks what it is, but the monks reply, “We can’t tell you. You’re not a monk.”
The man says, “All right, all right. I’m *dying* to know. If the only way I can find out what that sound was is to become a monk, how do I become a monk?”
The monks reply, “You must travel the earth and tell us how many blades of grass there are and the exact number of sand pebbles. When you find these numbers, you will become a monk.”
The man sets about his task. Forty-five years later, he returns and knocks on the door of the monastery. He says, “I have traveled the earth and have found what you have asked for. There are 145,236,284,232 blades of grass and 231,281,219,999,129,382 sand pebbles on the earth.”
The monks reply, “Congratulations. You are now a monk. We shall now show you the way to the sound.”
The monks lead the man to a wooden door, where the head monk says, “The sound is right behind that door.”
The man reaches for the knob, but the door is locked. He says, “Real funny. May I have the key?”
The monks give him the key, and he opens the door.
Finally, the monks say, “This is the last key to the last door.”
The man is relieved to no end.
He unlocks the door, turns the knob, and behind that door he is amazed to find the source of that strange sound.
But I can’t tell you what it is because you’re not a monk.
Ffs 🤣🤣🤣
Good story but that's not the whole picture you are missing something TBH.
It is an interesting trick to drop yourself into a trance instantly to be vulnerable to any kind of hypothesis suggestions.
How come we never seen anyone use this trick in any kind of competition if it has any useful applications?
It is not how you hold your hand. It is the force you put in your hand.😊
Oh wow so once you know it's gonna a fake punch you don't flinch anymore? Brilliant!
I imagine that guy in a suit kicking everyone's ass
😊🌎☀️✌️
He wouldn't
the first chop is done out of their peripheral, the second chops are done within their peripheral sight
I honestly think you might be right.
There is slight of hand here.
Each of the first tries were unexpected, even to me as a viewer.
Whereas the next ones were spotted well ahead of time as he pulled his hand back to make to male ot obvious the hand was coming.
Ok so what does that mean or have to do with shit
It's totally different because he knows he's not going to be hit. So he has the confidence to stay still.
Not true
In a real situation u have no idea what is going to happen
I play badminton and do this since like i was 14..all those smashes and fast ball are easy to catch
So this is why traditional martial artists let themselves get KO'ed so easily.
Do I smell bullshido?
With this one you can easily try with a partner to determine it or not 🤷🏾♂️
@@SaxualiTeaif there is one thing
Try it yourself first
You stupid or something,Bullshite always smells, didn't you know that already?😮... Now ,get down and give me 20 push ups, soldier!!😂
**Btw,some of his methods are actually effective and enlightening!! We can learn something new from anyone !! Enter like an empty vessel,b'coz, a filled vessel can't hold anything new/extra!!that's what my dad and my instructors used to say,and it's true 😊.❤👍🏻
The danger is that people don't understand but think they know
👏👏👏👍 unbelievable
i think this one is a mental thing ur planting urself into the earth that way so ur mind knows ur there u are the strongest at tht moment
Its almost like they have experienced something like that the first time so they are surprised but are ready for it the second time so they dont flinch. I had no idea that the stillness is actually attributed to a very specifc arbitrary action you must take to make you brave.
It’s the breathing that makes the difference 😊
Karate is my favorite martial art since I was very young.
After you do that you be fearless and you still got knock out, but you don't scare anymore. You be sleeping good 😂.
The art of surprise. After the heels and whatever, the punch receiver already knew and expected the missed punch thus no need to react
Awesome, very useful tips
Respect always 🙏 Master
A lion caught me off guard once, I told it to let me relax and we can try again. It worked...I was still relaxed at the hospital.
That's pretty cool!
Its secrets like this that were not meant for US on the western side of the world. No one should ever learn the secrets within a family. But I am grateful for this kind of wisdom
I just studied this. The man hand was more direct and in his face the first strike. The second strike was wider allowing the eyes to ajust and not be scared.
Going back is not a weakness its defense by nature of the body .
These reflexes are important
The IRL dub is crazy work😂😂
Bro is revealing Mahoraga's tricks of adapting. Dayum.
Super Hack
Thanks 👍🏾
He got scared because he thought you were going to hit him, and when he realized you weren't going to, he realized there was nothing to be afraid of. In fact, they're all actors.
My friend did this when he was confronted by a bully. He didn't flinched at the bully's fake punch. Now i miss my friend since he passed away.
I've still never seen a single useful combat technique from this guy
In situations like this, fear is instinctive, it helps your body react automatically to dodge, instead of standing still to get hit.
Wow he doesnt flinch when he expects it. Wonderful 😂
When I drove my car at 50 mph in a 30 mph zone, I remained extremely relaxed even while receiving my ticket.
When you are relaxed and mind clear, you see the palm coming despite the speed
It's because once anything happens doesn't scare second time if you already know what will happen.
Tatsuya Naka can also surprise me with other things and I'm all for it 😍
don't hold your working reflexes, man. You have it for a reason.
I think when someone tells you when it's going to happen, no matter what other things you do. You'll know it's coming unlike the first time. LOL
The dub has me laughing so hard i forgot to be scared 😂😂😂
This is literally the concept of meditation. You focus on your breathing and body. So your mind and awareness is only concerned about that. No fears, stresses or anxiety in that moment. There’s a reason warriors have practiced it both European and Asian all throughout history. Probably even American native warriors too.
