So happy for Wiggins, seeing the way he completely changed the narrative about his career this season was truly something special. Hoping for another strong season next year and looking forward to seeing him represent Canada in the 2024 Olympics !
Wiggins blocks right hand shots with his left hand which is the more effective angle fundamentally. Great defensive players like Pippen, Kawhi, Kobe did the same thing
Maybe the best defensive performance of the NBA Finals ever. He just humiliated Tatum, Brown, Smart and White blocking theier shots, stealing the ball, forcing air-balls. Absolutely fantastic individual defense
Honestly Wiggins is filling that iggy role for them. I think he should get in that gym with iggy and pick his brain. Cause I think he’s finally found his niche, which has been his struggle all of his career. He can play that James worthy, mark Aguirre type role for this team..
The difference is Wiggins is much younger and have more talent scoring the ball. Andrew Wiggins Career average is like 20 point per game. That’s not a fluke . He legit get buckets
@@jackcoop4687 yup. And going back to back the original comment, I never thought about the James Worthy, Mark Aguirre comps, but that's 100% the role! Play lockdown defense, hit timely shots, and create for yourself when nobody has it going. Take advantage of your elite physical advantages and get some easy looks at the rim as needed. Rebound like a bat outta hell. To me, that three he hit off the offensive rebound at the end of game 6 was the kill shot of the series. Followed his miss, kept his head on a swivel, relocated to the open corner, and knocked down the reload. MAN, I'm still so dang proud of how well Wiggins played all playoffs. Did EVERYTHING the haters said he couldn't do. Efficient offense, lockdown defense, dominant rebounding, and aggressive with the ball when his team needed him
he can't push him, that's one of the differences between them. If Wiggins bumps his body towards someone that playoffs, they literally be sliding off the floor
I have not seen that hunger in Wiggins in all season or I'm sending in the younger players the younger guys I have not seen it I ain't saying he ain't doing it I just not seeing that fire in Wiggins during offseason and that's making me kind of concerned
On Tatum maybe, but against Wiggins he never drop 50 on him, not even during his prime, when Wiggins used to drop an average of 30 pts per game against Lebron defense.

It is?
@@status7505yes, blocking shots with your off hand lets you increase the reach of your arm.

Iggy is already coaching him tho
I was gonna say that’s why iggy is on the team lol
True

that golden state crowd is something else
this guy should be in all defensive 1st team
he will be next year. lock it in
It will be difficult to make 1st team as a forward
before the finals they were
saying celtics defense is just superb but they dont have any idea whos in the warriors defensive arsenals
Damn this Andrew Wiggins is different 😳
Better deffender than marcus smart...
He looked like prime Shawn Marion in the finals
good comparison
Nah Wiggs gave Tatum hell of a defense in that finals. He's also great at rebounds, truly the unsung hero of that series.
Wiggs played like Kawhi in the playoffs locking down one MVP candidate after another
That first one is insane, stops the transition, blocks Brown, and then makes Brown turn it over.
Almost feel bad for Tatum. Wiggins was pretty much a blanket.
wiggins is amazing
He is much stronger than his looks
2:40 this play by Tatum :DDDDDD
he can't push him, that's one of the differences between them. If Wiggins bumps his body towards someone that playoffs, they literally be sliding off the floor
wow, tatum and brown can't get by wiggins... if they have 2 Wiggins, good Lord where will the Celtics get their points
That's what's up✊🏿
He just freezed tatum
Wiggins was slapping shit
This guy humiliated the celtics, especially tatum
Tatum Srtopper
Wiggins we are yet to see the hungry you and desire like the other people are doing in the players are doing on the Golden State Warriors 🤔
If only there was like a finals defensive player or something
2:41

There's no doubt that Jayson Tatum is a great player, but he was more of a role player against Wiggins.
WIGGINS SON’D TATUM IN THIS SERIES HE COULDNT DO NOTHING BC FATHER WIGGINS WOULDNT LET HIM
I had to turn this off after a few seconds. Why is the quality so insanely bad?
And to think a 37 yr old LeBron dropped an easy 50 on him. There are levels to this
On Tatum maybe, but against Wiggins he never drop 50 on him, not even during his prime, when Wiggins used to drop an average of 30 pts per game against Lebron defense.
That's not a good sign and not a good thing if Wiggins is not hungry sharp on point accurate precise detail sharp calculated at every turn
Shoulda have been finals MVP. Without his defense on Tatum they don’t win.
Just like curry should’ve won finals mvp in 2015? Without his offense they wouldn’t had won in 2015 including that must win game 5
@@yoitsSmitty2004 he was awful in those finals lol give me a break
Tatum doesn’t have any fluidity
This guy disappeared after 2022 season🤣🤦
