How cai i do this in ableton ! is a headache for me this "little" think. Thanks !

    This is why I love Reaper - a track is track is a track. MIDI/AUDIO/BUS - all the same. Put MIDI on a track with Audio - Reaper doesn't care. Put a 48kz mono wav on a track with a 128 mbps stereo MP3 - Reaper doesn't care. It just plays the audio.

    • @idealmodernsystems
      @idealmodernsystems 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Wayne Brown - "Apply FX to item as new take", or use Item FX that can be switched on and off as you desire. With proper session management the original 1st take of anything can be pulled from the Audio Pool at any time if you want to revert. Of course Reaper can't match the exact workflow of every other DAWs features, but there's almost always several workarounds using the freely available SWS extensions or community programmed Reascripts - and these can be set to run at the single click of a custom toolbar button. Hell, you could even program and add your own - it's not a walled garden like ProTools. Add whatever features you want. Ultimately if ProTools works for you, all good, each to their own. I used it for almost 10 years until I discovered Reaper in 2009.

    • @idealmodernsystems
      @idealmodernsystems 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Wayne Brown - Well if pressing one button, once is too cumbersome 🤷‍♂️ :) - but seriously, if it's not for you, that's fine. There won't be a solution that pleases everyone. Myself and many others have found ways to implement audiosuite in Reaper.
