Good way to lose a finger on the helical cutters of that benchtop joiner. why not a tapering jig, cut then sand down, or at least use a push block? A few of your other cuts on the saw looked a bit scary, too, but at least your sawstop might save a finger there.
Nice looking project, but I guess I’ve never understood the purpose of a valet tray. I just dump out my pockets on the kitchen counter or nightstand...I have a very tolerant wife. ;)
Awesome trays, thanks for sharing your talent with us. Hope everyone is doing great.

I missed the premiere. 😔 Another great build Matt. The Walnut is sooo pretty. They turned out great!
I can’t believe you missed it. Thank you. I think they are pretty ok
@@mechammatt TH-cam failed me. I didn't get a notification 😔. And they are more than pretty okay haha.
What was used to finish it? Couldn’t see the the label in the video.
Awesome, my buddy at work wants me to build one similar to this. Started with 4/4 material I assume?
Yep!
Awesome work. Would you be willing to share dimensions?
What wood did you use
