Hello everyone! Another personal video this week, I hope you enjoy it. How do you deal with toxic thoughts about the past? Also, do you enjoy this video format? Let me know. Thank you all for being here.
@@ElifB1 I'm sorry if I came off too forward I guess I was looking to become a friend, just a friend because you have very warm qualities and it's wild to have to wait for a video Everytime I just wanted to know you sorry for thinking I could know you.
Elif! You have some spiritual gifts for sure! This video was great! I'm enjoying your voice too 😊 I am currently working on bringing my self-awareness into 5D and vlogging about it! I hope I can be a warm blanket like you are! You're amazing 🔥
I also think that too often we try to compare ourselves to things we admire and often find that we don't always live up to what we think makes us happy. It is not about the goal. It's more about how you approach something. The journey is what shapes us. I also don't think that personal development should be associated with depression or negative things. I think it's a kind of skill that we can acquire. For that you also have to deal with negative things but there is nothing bad about that. Great Video Elif!
Everything, in a way is a double-edged sword. If not balanced, it can be very harmful for us or others around us. Comparasion can be both healthy and unhealthy. What separates the two is out mindset while we compare. Healthy comparison provides us with motivation to do better than the others without belittling them. It allows us to see how they operate differently than us which at times even helps us to notice our flaws, all while no feelings of extreme inferiority, jealousy, resentment or superiority in us towards them. Unhealthy comparison can go two ways. If we are better than the others, it builds our ego and if we are worse than others, it leads to negative self image. In my opinion regret in of itself is not bad, its actually something that allows us to grow. When we regret something, its because we have realised that we did it wrong. This realisation stays with us forever and stops us from doing exactly what we did before. Regret gets bad when we get too fixated on the past and desire to change it. our desire to change the past comes from getting rid of our regrets because they are painful, but what we must learn is to live with our regrets, not to get rid of them and this is because it is impossible to get rid of our regrets, the past is set to stone (unless time travel is possible) and we cannot change it no matter how much we want to change it. And also I'd like to say that it's never too late, to turn your life around, to do what you wanted to do but can't because you think that its too late now. You may have fallen behind but it is possible to get back on track. Do not choose to stay behind forever just because you have fallen behind once.
Thank you again for your comment. 😊Thought provoking. I agree with everything you said. Regret and comparison may be healthy based on the dosage but resentment is always unhealthy I think. I appreciate you always adding something valuable to the discussion. 😊
