You did a one click on chromatic aberration. There are several options/adjustments such as radius, green/red etc. I do find it useful to change these for fringing around high contrast parts of the image. good tip for the colour equaliser module. BTW, please, PLEASE, don't ever be tempted to add BBM (bloody background music). I absolutely hate it. Your channel is pretty much perfect presentation wise. I'm quite fond of the tone equaliser module for balancing sky and foreground.

I'm not sure what's going on with the Retouch tool but my opposing circle does the same thing from a great distance at the start. Great tips and tricks for those developing a workflow

In this image I think, your edit could use a little more punch in contrast and color, don't you think? Maybe, it's just my monitor though.

Congratulations on your always very clear, fast, informative videos! I see that when you use the Retouch module to erase some detail along the borders of the photo you resort to the Enlarge Canvas module in order to have more room for action around it. Personally in cases like these I find it much more practical to activate the ISO 12646 Colour Assessment tool. What do you think?
@@DarktableLandscapes Another tip on the Retouch module: It is always unpredictable which source area will be chosen to clone or heal a point you wish to remove, sometimes with absurd effects, but with the circle and ellipse tool you can choose an area to use as an origin, simply by not releasing the mouse after selecting the point you want to erase and dragging the mouse over the desired source area before releasing the mouse button. [Edit: I used the wrong account in this last comment, sorry. I'm the same lucafalefoto of the original comment]

Tone Equalizer also pretty much gets rid of any halo effect around high contrast edges.

Have you tried darkening the skies with a multiply blend and a gradient mask? It brings up the clouds very nicely when applicable.

I don't generally give out my raw files, sorry. The processes should work on more or less any photo of course.
