what makes mamamoo so beautiful is that they all have unique distinct vocal styles and tones but together they harmonize so well. Highly recommend "mamamoo "where are we now" masterpiece ballad..watch the mv as its beautiful
People usually react to their "Immortal Songs Medley" after this. It's just a sample of some of the covers they did on the show "Immortal Songs". It's a long running South Korean competition show. They won several times, something that was unheard of for a kpop girl group to do then.

Four superstars collectively as Mamamoo and individually as each member has their own very successful solo career. From L to R Moonbyul, Solar, Wheein, Hwasa. Mamamoo is widely known as the vocal queens of kpop and as being the biggest crackheads/goofballs in the industry. They debut in 2014 and between their albums, concert performances, stage performances, OST's, collabs, and solo works they have close to 400 titles in their discography. So you have discovered Mamamoo? I bid you welcome. Their catalog is vast. The rabbit hole is deep. You mentioned that you like that their songs all sound different. Well you are in luck, because there is plenty more of exactly that. Whether you just dip in here and there or you go all in full immersion, there is an almost universal reaction, "OMG, I wish I would've known about them before".
So my advice, watch a guide, underated is the most up to date and is excellent. Watch immortal songs medley. Then go nuts. ✌️
This one vocal group that always make sure their mic are on. I attended two concerts so far, and yes their live singing is better than recorded version.
My ult group! Between their group music, sub group (Mamamoo+) and individual music...they have about 200 songs. So much for you to listen to. Enjoy...they are top tear in their 10 years together!

Released last year. ..I woiuld start witht his and from their you love the girls even more and understand their journey and how they survived for 10 years.
Always happy to see someone enjoying Mamamoo. Not only have they been around for a long time, they've done an incredible variety of styles, both as a group and in each of their solo projects... and throughout it all, you might simply find songs you like less but nothing that is bad, which is kind of impressive to me! And yes they're total goofs so that always adds to their performances and some of their MVs.
What I love about this medley is that, while they have effects on their voices when necessary, no one can claim that they're not doing it live. Not only because they keep joking around and doing adlibs, but also because Hwasa (the one on the right) was sick while they were recording this and you can somewhat hear that.
Moon Byul, the rapper that you liked, is actually a trained singer. She was forced to become a rapper to debut with the group. However in recent years she’s started to sing more again in her solo projects. It would probably get blocked on here, but I still recommend you to watch her cover of “refuge”. Also Moon Byul just released her first full album in February (it’s a banger and is extremely diverse genre wise). You could check out “Touchin&Movin”, it’s one of the title tracks of said album.
Mamamoo in general are just really fun, they all have great personalities. If you want to get to know more about them I’d recommend you to watch one of the fan made Mamamoo guides on TH-cam.
Others already mentioned the immortal songs medley, that’s always a good point to start. However those songs are only covers.
If you want to hear more of their music, I’d first of all recommend any of the MVs of the songs from the medley you just watched. Additionally there is “ILLELLA” from their most recent mini album; “Piano Man”, “Yes I Am”, “Um Oh Ah Yeah”, “Decalcomanie”, “You’re the best” are also iconic; and there’s still so much more…
Ah yes they also have a couple of very silly songs. “Taller than you” would be a good example for that.
Just one thing, maybe their performances in Immortal songs 2, are versions of classic Korean songs but, is unfair don't say that Mamamoo turned it "their songs"...as almost all the renditions they did.

Mamamoo are consummate professionals. When they were singing they were on point. Their demeanor would change to fit the song.. Best place to see that was at the end of I miss you and jumping into Hip. From a heart wrenching song to a bright happy song. Their discography diverse. I know there are a lot of MV's out there, but i really want to stress their quality extends to all their B-sides too. I know they are usually only lyric videos, but they really are worthwhile checking out. BUT where Mamamoo really shines is when they are live. Put them infront of a crowd, and they will entertain.
In K-Pop, most groups and group members are expected to be able to both sing and dance at the very least. Most groups also have dedicated Rapper positions.
Mamamoo was known much more for their vocals than anything else to begin with but people complained that some of the members did not dance very well (and of course there was the online bullying to consider; they got picked on mercilessly over EVERYTHING about them, the dancing included). They worked on Vocals first and foremost and finally started dancing a little more seriously, later in their career. Two of the members are widely known as real all-rounders so they did not get picked on for dancing skills.
They can all spit bars but only your favorite, Moon Byul-yi, writes her own raps. She is one of (if not THE) most-credited among Female Rappers in K-Pop and maybe even qualifies in writing other things besides rap verses. She's AMAZING. All four members are amazing.
Debuting was a real struggle in the first place but they went through SO MUCH even AFTER they debuted. They came from a tiny start-up company (RBW) and these four ladies literally carried that company on their backs, worked like slaves to get the company off the ground. They went Busking, they went to festivals, they performed at different places on the same day for YEARS to get RBW to be a solid company. Now RBW has other groups under them and that makes Mamamoo the Senior Group of that company.
These four are so good partially because of just how hard they worked to get where they are now. I would argue that nobody has worked harder than they did, since they actually carried the company for years on end. They are all SWEETHEARTS, which makes their story even more potent. They deserve all the respect and positive attention in the world. :)

FYI... Mamamoo is the REASON there IS a "Killing Voice"
Before them it was only "Killing Verse" and featured ONLY Rappers.
Killing voice exists because of MAMAMOO. SOLAR wanted to join 'Killing verse' but wasn't accepted. Then, Dingo Music created 'Killing Voice' and called MAMAMOO. Their video currently has 48,051,449 views as of Apr 4/24

mamamoo has one of my fav discographies, and they're well-known for having some of the strongest live vocals in kpop! i saw them live last year and they were phenomenal. i hope you do a bit of a deep dive on them because there are /so/ many songs
I am NOT joking when i say their discography combined and NOT REPEATED totals to 26 hour AND IT"S INCREASING as they release their solos this year.
No kidding, my main playlist is called Mamamoo and it’s over 12 hours.
Mamamoo is amazing!!! Every era is just the best, there is no way to just choose one!!! Their early stuff is like this really jazzy style... no metter where you end up yo will enjoy yorself!!! Moonbyul is also my favourite one so I was so happy to finally hear someone say they like her the best. I would start with the group first before jumping into solo stuff. Other reactors usually jump to Immortal Medly. I would recommend Inroducing Mamamoo by PurpleHawke... it is a bit old but still is the best video to show each member and what they are about. It is very well made and very funny.
If you love this performance of theirs, I recommend you to watching their live performances both group/ solo esp the one where they're switched and performed each others solos. Technically all of them can sing and rap. Very versatile singers.

The MAMAMOO members are among some of the most-credited idols in K-Pop as of Aug 27/23
- Moonbyul actually has the most songwriting credits of all 3rd generation female idols at 117(2nd most credited famale artist overall... Yoon Mirae at 139), since she writes her own raps(and more) in almost all of the group’s songs. As well as contributing to the songwriting in many of them as well.
- Solar has 41 credits to her name. She wrote the lyrics and composition for her solo song, “Spit it Out”. Composer on "Honey".
- Hwasa has 46 credits. The lyrics to her solo song, “María”, were praised for its inventive and meaningful wordplay. ("Somebody" w/Loco).
- Wheein has 10 credits (that I can find, maybe more)

I was really surprised tonight when all of a sudden YT recommended this video even though I’ve been subscribed the whole time none of your videos have shown up for almost 2 months. I’m looking back through the list and you’ve published so many. 😢
I’m happy that you liked Mamamoo as much as you did. What you saw is how they are. 4 really great women, superstars who are supremely talented and comfortable performing. The formed in 2014 and my personal favorite is Wheein. She was 2nd from the right. She’s actually on tour right now and will be in the US next month. Solar, their leader (the one with the “big” voice has her own highly successful YT channel. Hwassa, on the far right is the youngest and has some very amazing solo songs and MV’s from a few years ago. And Moonbyul (also known as Moonstar) is the most credited female rapper in S. Korea, and also a great singer in her own right.
I rarely suggest lots of songs for reactors to react to when they find new groups because I like them to find these naturally. I’ll just say that a couple of my favorites that I think you will also like are Piano Man, You’re the Best and Starry Night. Don’t use the main RBW channel because they won’t contain English subtitles. There’s another official channel you can use that has their subtitles.

Il y a bien sur tous les MV à voir qui sont tous exceptionnel comme l'inénarrable Uhm Oh Ah Yeah. J''ai noté que tu avais flashé sur la râpeuse Moonbyul. Elle mène une carrière solo qui est aussi incroyable. Je te recommande Eclipse, Shutdown, Lunatic, Absence, C.I.T.T., G999, Touchin&Moovin. Elles ont toutes maintenant des carrières solo incroyable. Par example, Solar participe à des comédies musicales comme Mata Hari et Notre Dame de Paris. La carrière de Wheiin et de Hwasa sont aussi incroyable. tant de chose à dire sur elles et tant de chose à voir. C'est aussi le groupe le plus drôle à voir sur scène et en dehors de scènes. Une autre chose notable est qu'elles sont toutes TH-camur , en particulier Solar qui relève toutes sortes de défi fou. Bonne découverte à toi. Tu viens de voir une vidéo DINGA, tu trouveras d'autre artistes dans cette série DINGA, j'ai apprécié celle sur le groupe BTOB. Personnellement, je suis totalement fan de tous le travail de Moonbyul et de Solar.

You should check out Their 2017 concert, named ‘Mamamoo Concert Moosical: Curtain Call’ they picked their version of the songs they sang during the show "IMMORTAL SONGS", performing an Eleven-Minute long medley in the middle of a Four-Hour long concert.

I'm surprised you didn't react more strongly to the four part harmony. It's really what sets Mamamoo apart from any other good group. Individually, there are better singers, but combined, there's no group that even comes close.
Being a professional in singing, I don't think it's that surprising for her reaction to be less strong 😂. The more technically familiar you are with music, the less surprising it'd be, right?
