    this is horrendous. hard to believe people actually live like this. living in the epicenter of extreme wealth inequality and you're like "OMG IS THAT THE ALT RIGHT??" like whew, someone needs to get in touch with reality, where progressivism is directly responsible for people having to "podshare" like animals. I knew it was bad in LA but wow.

      That’s how brainwashing and conditioning works. She would rather get devoured by nig than live in society with rules and norms, cause that’s oppressive and she’s a strong and independent woman wearing a mask in an empty theater but not in her podshare around dozens of strangers, because fuck logic.

    None of the dystopian SciFi I read as a youth would've prepared me for this reality.

      At least the dytopian dramas in our youth promised the possibility of death/action. Instead we got to keep living, breathing and paying taxes.

    • @hazelshostels
      @hazelshostels  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What is even more interesting to me is now that I have had time away from the situation and time to reflect, I feel like it was a good experience for myself.. It really helped me have more empathy for people who really are financially struggling.. and also added this element of unrecognized privilege because I was able to "walk away and have time to reflect" We tend to label homeless and the poor as more violent, but with out room to escape and reflect it is harder for them to manage all this stress!
