Great video!!! I need to open up my KN5000 and clean up the display, because some dust got in between the LCD and the front cover glass. Thank you very much for showing how to tackle the KN5000 opening. I'd probably unscrew all the other screws if I didn't see this video.
@@ashnayeebacomputer6619 Oh, the guy who disassembled the KN3000!!! That's right!!! I'd like to have a KN3000, too. Looks very nice. I love Technics keyboards. They go all out, no corners cut. Very high quality, like most Matsushita Electric products.
So, I opened up my KN5000 and cleaned up the LCD. Thank you again for your video to get me started. To get to the LCD I needed too look onto the KN5000 service manual. There are four screws behind the display to get to it. Now my KN5000 looks nearly brand new. It's a great instrument. Very high quality sounds.
Thank you for very practical video . One key has finally gone on my KN5000 keyboard. I can and have opened it up as per your video but I am worried about CAPACITORS. I think I am right in saying that there are capacitors in this instrument and there is could be a danger of shock. If this is right then it is a question of identifying them and discharging them. Could you comment please. (My intention is to see if it is actually the key is broken but not delve into the electrics.)
Hi, I am the same guy Khalid who created this video I am replying to you from my other TH-cam channel. The Capacitors are all low voltage capacitors. The main AC current goes to a transformer and from the output of the transformer, it goes to a DC board with capacitors on it. So there shouldn't be any High Voltage Capacitors in it.

Hi, you will need to change the board under the Tempo button, or if you know how to solder then just removing the temp dial and replacing it is good enough
@@TECHNOLOGYTIPS101 Thanks mate i opened the keyboard yesterday because the screen became blue no Graphics and , it could be the tape connection from the video board to the main board ,about the tempo ,i sprayed on the switch WDD oil and it will work but it's temporary , but that is the least my worries cause i have another Keyboard PSRS910 ,but that no graphics is not good cause i can't control change functions.
Paulo Santos do you get a Blue screen?if so it's not the screen, mine sudden gets a blue screen,i think it could be the video board graphics or the connection Tape connection.

Your best bet would be eBay, but they don't always have it so keep on checking to see if you can locate one.
