To be honest, I never understood the "unable to reproduce" plot even now. I mean, why would dragon aspects giving up their powers suddenly make the other dragons unable to breed? It wasn't like other dragons had anything to do with taking down Deathwing.
Dragons are only a thing because of the titans keepers, they created the flights to serve aspects. When the aspects are no longer of need, neither do the other dragons.
I dont get why they get their powers back after "the hour of mortals" and stuff. But it would all conected if Blizzard didn't pull the "the truth we know is odyn's truth" so..even the voidlords could be "good" now :D
Blizz is rewriting the lore completly
One of the main complaints the players had about Cataclysm was the Dragon Aspects weren't really explored properly ingame. Only those who had read the books truly knew what these characters were about. Deathwing was supposed to be not only cruel and sadistic, but also cunning and manipulative. But in- game, he was this creature of single- minded death and destruction (although you could argue Deathwing at that point was slipping even further into madness than before). Also, the disappointing resolution to the expansion was the main reason Dragon Soul is still considered by many to be the worst raid in WoW history.
As for Blizzard's recent retcons, I only hope they don't ruin Alexstrasza or any of the other Aspects.
@@Kaminkaese Is this some recent retcon? Dragons naturally evolved on azeroth and one of the ulduar keeper saw their potential and thus they were empowered
@@Therealpro2 I don't think it's new at all. Dragons are only dragons since the aspects (proto drakes at that time) defeated Galakrond. The Titan Keepers then devided to empower them and made them the Dragon Aspects (which also make them dragons) to defend Azeroth.

Out of the original Dragon Aspects, I think Alexstrasza has had the most interaction with the champions of Azeroth. She aided us a couple of times in Wrath, we aided her in Cataclysm, we joined forces in BfA, and we met briefly Shadowlands. So it's more than fitting she's our guide in Dragonflight.

Wrathion - Alexstrasza - ysera - kalecgos - Nozdormu - Malygos - Neltharion.

I'm talking about the ORIGINAL Aspects, so Kalecgos and Wrathion don't count.
After learning of what Alexstrasza went through, I'm glad Deathwing died.
So canonically Alexastrasza can deal enemies Emotional Damage? God damn that's broken!
Love how smooth u make lore sounds, poor alextrasza all she suffered from orcs and still she finds it in her to forgive them and actually rely on one (thrall) during cataclysm. So does the aspects regain the power they gave up in dragonflight or do they remain weakened

Korialstrasz was a intresting character that should have more screentime in wow.
Yeah he's mostly in the books. Wiping Krasus and Rhonin was a sad thing to do.
Possibly the first example of the Reds being able to animate the dead was Krasus (Korialstrasz) as he brought up a goblin, in the search for Deathwing's lair of course lol. A bit surprising, atleast to me when I first heard the novel but interesting

Hope you're hella excited for Dragonflight Nobbel. Looks like it's shaping up to be an excellent story.
Once you create the remaining Dragonflight videos. I would like to see lore on specific events that occurred in the lore. Specifically the War of the Ancients.
I like to go in blind to a new expansion and haven’t decided if I want to play Dragonflight after SLs. Is Nobel impressed with the lore of DF so far? I trust his judgement.

Why did Nozdormu say "I was the aspect" ? He is no longer? Or is it his future self coming back from the future were he no longer is and release the dratchyr?

Cataclysm lore honestly strikes me as ambitious but all over the place- love some of it but stuff like what seemed to be an attempt to phase dragons out of the game was just strange. Very glad they changed their direction with the Dragons more recently!

The red dragon flight is my fav flight. And Alextrazha is one of my fav characters in WoW. And there's always "the children of azeroth" that needs help and guidence which she can use her big mom-energy on to love them all, guide them all and and just be the amazing momy dragon we all know and love. And her obsesive loving do get anoying and can be a bit to much at times but its who she is and i like Alextrazha so im ok with it. And my cat is having a 1 in the morning zoomies. To those that dont know what that is it is when the cat needs to poop it basicly races around the apartment at full speed.

Red Dragon thunderzord power!
To be honest, I thought we wouldnt see the Red until the end of this series. Them being the leaders and all... I was expecting Yellow or Green.
I'm not sure if he intended this was but I think he is somewhat going in order as to how the story of wow brought up each flights story. Since shadowlands Green flight with ysera was most recent and in the current shorts yellow flight with nordormu is presently relevant. But I don't know, at least to me it makes sense in story relevance order.

Any plans for a quick recap of shadowlands lore video, for people who didnt play it or quit early in xpac?
*inhale* jailor was supposedly behind every major event in wow (including arthas and lich king), sire denathrius actually created the nathrezeim (which retcons their homeplanet), tyrande is freed from her uncontrolled servitude to elune, anduin breaks free from jailor’s will, decides to go in solitude, sylvannas gets to talk to arthas’s soul before he disappears (despite other major characters associated with him being there), uther redeems himself, sylvannas becomes good again, but is forced to free all the souls she damned from the maw, pelogos or whatever his name is is the new arbiter, kelthuzad supposedly was behind contributing to the maldraxxian (and shadowlands) rebellion, and khadgar decides to pay oribos a visit at the end of the expansion just because why not.

The spikes face in one direction so it doesn't hurt the mother, but anyone trying to fuck with the eggs sure should be careful.
@@MissMarvel_ eggs come out of every animal pointed end first (unless the egg is spherical like in turtles), which means that the spikes are facing the wrong way
