    If Consequential Punishments were STRICTER here, then crimes would've been a lot less common.

    Need vigilante justice. And when police come 3 days later asking for who shot the perps. Citizens should not answer.

    Love how the citizen basically did all the police work and made their lives so much easy. Otherwise our police are way too busy getting free donuts at Tim's.

    You close Ontario place , with no plans, now you close the science center with no plans. You are killing our tourism in Ontario, along with the education system for students as well as an area, an outlet for children to go explore, play, and have fun. There are not enough areas in Toronto with the population that we have for children and families to go and explore now. You guys want to sit here and fight over finances. While both these locations are closed and have been closed and will be closed for years to come bleeding money and jobs that could have helped a lot. This government is very sad, disappointing, and money driven. Ford does not care about this Province, only his POCKETS!

    It's crazy to see a robbery but it might be something else. The insurance company should look at the prior sales and I wonder who's buying a diamond in this economy??? Is it an insurance scheme???

    Another way to cop with Opoid crisis is to make sure more young people do not get dependent on it by providing the support they need like labour, money, education, shelter etc

    Why aren't the police in malls at Christmas, this also happened at sherway gardens!

      Well, you can ask your mayor why not. My best guess, we are unable to the bill would increase taxes to tax payers by 200,000 100k higher after we pay the debt Liberals cost everyone.

      What would be the point? Cops would be accused of racially profiling certain demographics of people anyways and then the news will report it as 'profiling marginalized people'.

    • @Rl-tn1ys
      @Rl-tn1ys 7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      The presence of police in malls during the holiday season, like Christmas, can vary depending on several factors, such as the mall’s security policies, local law enforcement priorities, and the resources available in the area. Malls typically employ private security to handle day-to-day operations, and police may only be called in for specific incidents or during periods of heightened risk.
      If something notable happened at Sherway Gardens, like a disturbance or safety concern, it’s possible police responded after the fact, but they may not be stationed permanently at malls unless there’s a clear and ongoing need. Additionally, some malls may work with off-duty officers or hire extra security staff during the holiday rush, though this might not always include uniformed police officers.

    Funny you don't see a cop in high crime areas but if you try to beat the traffic to GET TO WORK there is a cop in your mirror

      Because certain demographics of people GOT ANGRY previously when cops were in high crime areas. Go look up past news articles where certain groups of people were complaining about 'racial profiling' and how there were too many cops in their neighborhood.
      The only time these same groups of idiots want cops in their community is after a bunch of violent crimes happening and then all of a sudden when they don't feel safe they want cops to be in their neighborhood.

    Canadian lawmakers have totally abandoned the concept of prevention when it comes to crime. If half of these creeps thought they would get serious jail time along with all the associated abuse from their fellow criminals they might actually think twice about robbing stores in broad daylight.
    I'm glad to see people reacting to these punks. They need to know not everybody will sit back and let them abuse citizens/businesses.

    I'll vote for who ever will give a raise on the welfare and disability checks. I've been on disability since 1984 back then i had a lively hood and now thanks to Trudeau i don't. Yet every one else has been getting more money or going on strike for more money. Out government has given them self's 3 pay raises.
