I really enjoy our videos! They are pretty interesting but mostly its u that I enjoy! Ur a funny guy and I always get a laugh or 2 when I watch. u and tikitrex are my favorites on TH-cam. Thanks for the explores and the smiles!
At 4:42 there is some sort of antique tube amp with some tubes and a transformer on a chassis. Those tubes 'could' be worth alot of money. If those are RCA 6L6 black plate tubes from the fifties or sixties, those would sound killer in a Fender guitar tube amp. The transformer on that thing is most likely made very well too. Alot of stuff could be salvaged, like the lovely head/foot board from the bed and the beveled mirror as well.
Thanks for being brave and going for the calendar. When, I was a kid, in the early 80s, there were a lot of old timers that still lived in places like that and there were still a few old stores like that hanging on in little towns in the hills. At least there were here in the Ozarks, where I'm from. Nice video.
I love this old school shit man. Thx for making these. Ive always been fascinated when you find places like these. Walking around and thinking about who was there before you. A few years back I was making deliveries ( work for FEDEX) and I stumbled across an old abandoned observatory of all things here in Cleveland Oh. After a bit of research I was amazed. If you ever have a chance google or even TH-cam " WARNER and SWASEY observatory" There was a group of folks who felt the same way as me when the found it and were in the midst of a restoration project. Unfortunately I believe the project didn't get to far off the ground but it was a noble effort for an amazing cause. Anyway thx again for doing what you do. You da man.
Cool video, it was interesting to see that old calendar and the bed. U had me laughing when you had said you were afraid that something was going grab u from under the bed. 😂
Wish someone would have rescued that poor antique vanity before the place half collapsed. =/ I love antiques and hate to see them just left to the elements.
Some of the stuff in these old homes is so neat. Can't believe someone has not taken the neat stuff to sell. Do you have treasures from these adventures. So fun.
Those beds are from the 1927 Sears & Roebuck catalog! I have one almost identical to them, inherited from my grandparents. Mine still has the Sears tag on it, proudly stating that it is made from 100% pure Bessemer Tubular Steel. it's odd to see something like that exposed to the elements, as it looks as if the beds at one time were neatly made and the closets were neatly organized.
If only the walls (what's left of them) could talk. It looks like the place MEANT something to someone-they didn't have much but yes, what they had was tidy. When you see boxes of old magazines or an old desk, you don't necessarily get the idea of the people who lived and/or worked there, but when you see beds still made and clothes hanging on the rod of a closet that no longer exists, ties on the mirror of a dresser that's falling apart, you know real people lived there-it was someone's HOME. Thank you, Jacob, for another interesting video.
DYI adventures, a coat of paint, some spit and shine, and you can flip that old place into a fab home. WoW that old bed is cool DYI heaven, lets put that one on PINTREST... hahaha, watch fer snakes, CAREFUL!
I gotta hand it to ya Jacob lol! You are brave! Walking into a building that can collapse at the touch of a breath then a good chance to be eaten alive a huge pack of starving honey badgers lol! Keep up the excellent work and stay safe my friend :)
"...dog bakery..." Labrador meringue pie; chocolate pupcakes with sprinkles on the icing; glazed dachshund donuts... I love that good ol' Southern cooking. Mmmmmmm. (I couldn't resist a bad joke!) Looks like a man died and his belongings or just what no one wanted were left behind. The store area seems to have been used for storage though I noticed a desk in there; maybe the resident's office area too? Nice house across the road but I doubt the owners also own the abandoned place or they would do something about it.
Well interesting, fixer uppers. Would that maybe have been a thrift store that undoubtedly would have sold moonshine under the table and of course boiled peanuts. Wish the sign wasn't so rusted.
There was this abandoned house I'd go to in San Diego. it was a nice farm house with tons of land and a tragic story. in the 70s a man and his wife and kids lived happy lives there until one day the man snapped. He murdered his family and put them under the floor boards then went to his shed and hung himself. long story short he actually had hidden train cars in his yard full of antique furniture that sadly got vandalised by dumb kids. They say he had hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of collectibles. they were in perfect condition besides that. wish people had more respect. anyways, there's a morbid tale for the night.
Wow, at 5:32 you have another Spirit talking again! It sounds male and says something like, '' Imagine something like that."" Its hard to hear the exact phrase b/c you are talking too. Go listen, tell me what you hear. God bless you friend.

Bed Bath & Beyond repair. I'm sure those vintage clothes will wash up. Hipsters would go nuts for that stuff.
