Well, it finally happened, even when I said multiple times that it couldn't be done!
...Well, actually, mixing in the metal cover couldn't be done, I should say. As I explained in multiple comments, mixing the metal with the original wasn't possible, since both play at completely different speeds. I never touched it since...until now.
Recently, I saw that someone else (John Doe...yes, that's his channel's actual name) had done a mashup of Synthetic Mind's cover with the original. I took a listen, and it sounded flawless! I was gobsmacked, because I thought it couldn't be done. Well, as it turns out, the synthwave version actually syncs really well! It's a shame that, after ten months, he only has almost 900 views on it; in my opinion, it deserves more, so I'll link his mashup in the description so you guys can check it out for yourselves. And since he already did it, I knew that I couldn't touch it.
Luckily for me, Lucas Ricciotti released his remix of "Daredevil", and I am due for another 'Cold War Mix', so why not put both his and Synthetic Mind's cover together? This is the end result, and I still can't believe it was this easy to sync up! Let me know if I synced this well or not, and again, make sure to check out John Doe's own mashup! He deserves full credit for this idea!
