That was 1996 though. Synthwave wasn't popular anymore. Maybe Grundge Rock for Scarface(Actually Ace Combat 2s own soundtrack fits perfectly enough with the timeline with its passion rock themes )

I just watched a video of a pilot who escaped 6 anti air missiles with just his own stunts. Flares and counters were locked and could not be used.
At one point you can see the 3 missiles passing through the aircraft. Its crazy.
I immediately thought of playing your mix and re-watch the footage. 10/10 would recommend.
